Greetings all!

Normally i do not feel the need to make threads but i want to express my love for CCP after the recent events.

Soon i will be starting courses to propell myself into the game design community. Games have always been my passion and ive always wanted to be involved with their development, im thinking perhaps enviromental design. Anyway i have always said i want to be involved with a company that truely cares about their game and their players. I remember telling this to one of the teachers at an open day and some people laughed and said things like 'All their trying to do is make money' , 'Its very unlikely they actually care about their players' etc etc. This is something that really got to me as ive been following the situation with Call of Duty, activision and other things.

I have always felt however that CCP has truely cared for their game and the desires of their players and have yet to be proved wrong in 3 years. The recent events with the server problems CCP have had are one of the many unexpected problems that arise in maintaining a game and i doubt many people really appreciate the efforts or understand what CCP has to go through to maintain our perfect world.

I guess what im really trying to say is that when i eventually get out into the field and begin to work for game designers i want to be in an enviroment like CCP. I want to be involved with people that not only want to make money with a sucessful game but that truely love and care about their game and players and want to continue producing A++ material, instead of making cheap ripoff's.

Thank you CCP for continuing to fuel my hopes that one day i'll be designing enviroments for an amazing company like yourselves!

Gratz on taking a 500% under estimation of downtime and loving them for it.

Goebbels would love you.
