Obviously, you've done a lot of research on the subject.

You wouldn't happen to have a graph on the subject, would you?

Ha, I happen to be watching Glenn Beck at this very moment.

To the original poster - CCP hasn't fully given us the reins of products yet, and hasn't removed the NPC buy orders or introduced an incentive to produce the other products made by PI. I trust that they have an intelligent plan, because Eve's economy is the most robust Laissez-faire player-run economy in any MMO. They aren't going to do anything rash.

You may want to set up a few colonies, start producing POS fuels and getting the feel of things, stockpiling products.ugh

why would you do that to yourself Sad

anyhow, OP: PI sucks 'cause you're doing it wrong. I, however, have made many millions of delicious iskies and am very happy.

Yes PI can be profitable.

BUT I can make more isk doing other things.

The best way to use PI is to set your extractors onto the longest time cycle and just let them grind away on their own for 96 hours at a time. That makes you isk when you're either offline or doing something more interesting such as mining tritanium in an indy Shocked.

Hmm I've just sold my first proper weeks worth of manufactered PI items for 520 million isk..

Oh yes there is profit :)

On another note, I've noticed that if I was to buy the P2 materials in order to just make my P3 Items without any extraction Its no longer do-able.

The prices of Items A and B needed to make item C has just gone astronomical when compared to what item C is currently selling at which is a damn fine price.

I made around 240mil in my first 3 days of PI, not so much now because my region is getting quite a bit of PI stuff dumped on the market already at silly low prices to undercut the NPC orders.
