I just read this from patch notes:
We have our own ideas for how much of the full insurance value we want to payout for each ship class which generally is 100% for Tech 1 ship groups, 20-60% for Tech 2 and 100% for Tech 3 ships (those this is only a portion of the value of the entire ship since subsystems are not included currently). However we are interested in your feedback on what you think they should be for each ship class and why.
After this i going to insure my tengu.
And what i saw :) My tengu worth 6 mil max in insurans panel.
I have question for smart ccp workers 6 mil is 100% for one tengu :))

I eagerly await each new installment of eveonline to contribe to the expansive universe. I will be much more surreptitious when anticipating improvements in the future. I was immediately troubled to discover lvl 5 missions are no longer avaible in places where they use to be relatively abundant. This is a problem that aflicts me deeply and contracdicts the purpose of developing the game if it alienate the lifestyle's of a large constituent of players. I beseech the developers to reevaluate their aims in appropriateing missions to be more consciencious of lvl 5 missioners.

Yes. Once an item from the overview list is selected, the Selected Item box's distance doesn't seem to change till the selected item is clicked again.

I know this happens with structures when you are moving, and, from your post, it appears that it can happen when a ship is moving away from the player, too.

I thought it was bad when trying to approach and be at a Stargate and trying to be within the distance one needs to be to jump.

However, if it is affecting the distance not changing to targets, it is a MAJOR GAME MECHANIC PROBLEM.

Still unable to install. The initial patch crashed my computer. The manual install crashed my computer. The alternate install for windows(for the patch that was corrupted: were the bold red letters)crashed my computer. Uninstalled eve, then reinstalled, as soon as it starts to run, computer crashes. I've checked my drivers,directx,etc. and made sure there was plenty of room to handle the install, and still nothing.! I do not have a p.h.d. in techno babble, so if anyone out there has an idea, solution, or words of encouragement I would be happy to hear. This includes you CCP!!

Not sure if this was already mentioned, but:

Small POS Sentries == Medium Ship Guns
Medium POS Sentries == Large Ship Guns
Large POS Sentries == X-Large Ship Guns

Building a Large Autocannon Battery out of an 800mm Repeating Artillery I, and then loading it up with Fusion XL, a shell that's larger than the battleship weapon, seems weird.

Sure it shouldn't be based on a Quad 3500mm Siege Artillery I module (since that is also the 3d modell that is used)?

Analog for all other types and sizes of pos sentry batteries.

It seems like the EVE Gate Calendar always says there is 1 new event. Am I imagining this? I can't seem to find one I haven't seen before.

To clarify, this is on the EVE Gate, Home page on the right under "UPDATES" for the Calendar item where it always seems to say 1 or more.

I agree, I believe they picked the smaller gun size material requirement to keep the final market price similar to current Large POS guns. Nonetheless, I would like to see some other mix of ingredients used (such as plain asteroid minerals) to avoid this bit of "doesn't make sense". Bug 95352 filed on 2010.05.13

Dear CCP,

Please rollback to patch day, as PI is totally broken for a year out from right now. There is no point in doing PI for anything other then pos fuels, given that Cyno-jammer and REAA reprocessing have not doing PI for pos mods silly at best. With the number of these mods reprocessed, Large towers will be down to around 100mil each over well over a year.

So if you want people to do PI please rollback, and fix this mistake.

After new patch we had a lot of problems:

1. In Contacts we lost all our folders (we use folders for different groups of pilots and WE NEED THEM BACK!)

2. Overview absolutely do not work and show different information. (you can see it here http://clip2net.com/clip/m35/1274920514-clip-23kb.jpg Please visit your user settings to re-enable images.

3. If you warp on different mission and use multiple accounts, some of you account will be crashed. And if you relogin - it crash again, your ship warp on previously crashed point and now your ship doesn't warp away!
4. We get crashes every time, some of accounts crash on XP if you jump to the gate or warp on mission or simply sit in dock and change ship and we get error information in ExeFile.exe

Bugs:

Random DC's resulting in Server Status: Unknown (no internet issues)

RANGE IS NOT UPDATING WHEN ITEMS ARE ON OVERVIEW.

Fix yer patch doods.

Better yet, roll-back and try again next year!

Arrow +1 confirmation of the overview failing to update distances bug (common fault when fleeted, observed by many) will bugreport when it next happens while I'm out of combat.

Arrow +1 brief burst of loud sound (white noise) when loading into systems after jumping - not always, intermittant

Arrow +1 nanite paste consumption way higher than it used to be

Arrow another fail to update bug - started manufacturing jobs (1 run)BPCs remained visible in hangar until hangar minimised and re-maximised.

Arrow mouse pointer still invisible until it's moved around a bit after tabbing into a client (seems to need to cross a number of window boundaries before it wakes up - old/peristant annoyance)

Arrow insert previous buglists here - you guys would really gain brownie points from spending a round of 'development' fixing stuff instead of scrambling to add more content (imho).

The overview-rollup issue is getting really really really old.

I mean, seriously, enough already. Just when we figure that it couldn't get any worse, you remove the column headers. You showed us that there's two places you can go from the bottom... up, and "down even further".

Now with the latest patch, you've bested your previous efforts. You've made the impossible possible, and created a "roll down" window. The window collapses "down"

Holy crap CCP! WTF are you guys smoking in Iceland? Can I have some?

Ok, had a glance at the suns in my neighbour systems and it looks like there is one type of sun "broken".

Du Annes - Sun Mo (Orange Radiant): Looks ok, but as mentioned by someone else before the edge lets the sun look like cut out...
Balle - Sun K7 (Orange): Looks ok.
Agrallarier - Sun K3 (Yellow Small): Pretty small, but seems to be ok.
Aufay - Sun K5 (Red Giant): Looks awful. Despite being a red GIANT it has around the size of the Yellow Small sun in Agrallarier. Perhaps there is some issue with a radius of the geometry or the visual effects, because at the "pole" you can see where the texture edges(?) meet. Looks like something simple like a not right scaled Glow effect or so is the problem.
Aunia - Sun K5 (Red Giant): Same appearance as in Agrallarier. I visited this sun a few days ago and it was a lot bigger than now...

Perhaps that's why parts of the people here find the suns great and the other awful...

Btw. while jumping around I also encountered the static noise (not the undefinable chatter at the gates) during the Stargate jump.

Had this problem already in Dominion. If you look around a bit you will find the missing parts of the Catalyst flying some kms away ^^. Looks like the two sets of the ships geometry is linked to two different transformation matrices...

I'm getting totally wrong info when it comes to planet scans. Planet description says one thing the picture of the planet in planet view is different and then the scan info on the materials are totally differnet again.

Examples
Nererut I
Planet info says Temperate
Picture in planet mode show temperate
Scan results show materials you'd find on a lava planet

Picture in planet mode show's icy
Scan results show Barren

Checking every planet in that system shows that the info/pic/scan's are incorrect on EVERY single one.


Can confirm that all data seems borked when you check if from inside a station - it then reverts to correct info it seems if your in space and in system.


Had this one also (in Agrallarier), but wasn't able to reproduce it for a bug report. I think it is related with the change of planet types and at first our systems used the old cached planet information resulting in inconsistent information...

Open character profile sheet in game for characters in a corp that is set red, the red minus is displayed in bottom right corner of character's portrait.
Same thing but corp is set orange, the orange minus is NOT displaying on character's portrait in lower right corner.

An address book contact logged off shortly after I flew through Vylade where he was docked. A few minutes later on my way back through Vylade the contact still showed in local but with the red "logged out" indicator beside his name in local. Character is in a corp set orange to ours.

Windows Vista 64 bit system.

Nothing's changed on the system... except the new EVE patch upgrade.

Only one issue affecting me (apart from the overview/contacts problems)

No sound at all. Just hammering loud racket.

running 64bit AMD based system with Asus Xonar DX sound board.

Will try and see if i can find a fix tonight.

The planets seem to go completely black at times, namely as soon as I put in a docking request the nearby planet turns pitch black.

Don't remember the exact planet, pretty sure it was barren however.

I have a rather low spec computer and I bet it has to do with the recent changes

1 GB Ram

My catalyst has been broken since dominion. Good thing I don't fly gallente.

The stars do look much worse than they used to =\

Ok what did you do to my blueprint originals?

None of them is showing manufacturing material requirements at all. Only visible thing is invention requirements.

Either this is bug and your quality group is not upto their task or all manufacturing is now free.

CCP please stop ****ing up everything, dont touch whats not broken.

Over 24 hours since I first tried to get this patch installed and still the same issues:
  • auto-update won't complete

  • manual download won't complete

  • downloading the entire client won't complete

  • deleting the cache & settings folders then trying the various methods doesn't work

  • completely deleting all traces of EVE and performing a new install doesn't work

Many others are reporting the same or similar issues, yet there is no mention whatsoever of patch issues in the Issues List sticky thread. ugh

OK. Here comes my first real rant in over eleven years of online gaming... Evil or Very Mad WTF CCP? Are those of us who cannot even get the patch downloaded just chopped liver? How about at least acknowledging the fact that there is an issue here? It is quite obvious that there are many other issues with this patch and I'm sure you all are busy as hell and trying your best, but simply ignoring this most basic of issues is just WRONG and isn't going to make it miraculously go away!

I for one would LUV to get ingame even with all of the issues in there. At least I could get my accounts training again and take a look around at the new PI. Instead I'm sitting here pleading for help with something as basic as getting the f*****g patch downloaded after trying everything I can think of, every suggestion, and nearly dissecting my OS and every other program on my system looking for anything that may be causing it on my end. It is on your end CCP. The patch is corrupted in some way. At least acknowledge that you are aware of the situation and are working on it! (You ARE working on it, aren't you? Or are you too busy with the ingame bugs to bother with us sitting here on the outside?)

Looks like there's a hardware problem somewhere. Try a different computer to download the full client.
On my computer everything works fine.

Not sure if it has been reported yet or not, as there are so many pages and so many posts, scanning them for this would be a pain...but when initiating some warps, the warp tunnel graphic goes in a slightly offset direction to the warp of the ship.

You could have the destination directly in front of your ship, and the warp tunnel seems to be going 20-30 degrees to the left or right.

It's not a hardware problem, at least not with my hardware. There are many others reporting the same issues. If I HAD another puter available (I'm in the middle of a new system build), I would try it but I doubt it would work there either. I've seen a few others report that they have tried multiple computers and all get the same results. This computer has worked fine for the last year playing, patching and downloading EVE. My hardware works just fine for anything and everything else. All of my drivers, system updates, etc. are up-to-date and temp files, caches, cookies and junk are deleted daily along with a weekly or bi-weekly defrag. I custom-build, overclock, and troubleshoot systems as a hobby and did so for a few years as a job. I know what I'm doing and this problem is not on my end. Something in the patch either made it incompatiple with certain systems or there is a corruption within the patch itself.

EDIT: All of those download methods give the same error message when the download fails...

Problem in Eve Gate:

When you have got the same skill in the queue a couple of times (lvl 1 - lvl 4) Eve Gate gets the skilltime wrong and doesnt know which level is being skilled

When I try to add an event in the Eve Gate calendar it is hard to see the buttons at the bottom of the event window. It needs to scroll down or somthing so I can see them.
