I've just finished my 6th consecutive deadspace mission with my level 4 kill agent. The only difference out of those 6 missions is that 3 were with Sansha spies while the other 3 were with Serpentis spies, the mission was exactly the same. Nice variety there! Next comes my amazing loot, look at these fantastic and very useful items I found from 150k cruisers and 750k battleships in the last mission.

1x cargo scanner 1
1x basic capacitor 1
1x small hull repairer 1
1x small armour repairer 1
and last but by no means least....
100 medium antimatter charges

Amazing or what?? All that loot from 4 cans dropped by *14* ships. Come on, how much longer are we going to have to put up with this pathetic drop rate and 2,500 isk rat loot? I'm not asking for supermegawow better than tech. 2 battleship drops but some decent drops every now and then is what I'm used to. The above loot is abysmal, as is constantly getting the same 1 or 2 missions all day long. The agent rewards aren't that bad, as long as I can somehow finish the mission in 40 minutes (yes I can mostly even with my skills) and earn the bonus.

Loot has been nerfed to make Player owned stations worthwhile.

Named items provide an alternative to Tech2 items, get rid of named items and demand for Tech2 items goes up.

I got a Quad Lif Fueld I Booster rocket (100MN AB) and thats the best loot I have got from lvl 3 deadspace missions in the whole time post-shiva that I have been doing them.

Rogue drones drop a lot of loot; I just did a Level III mission and once I refine all the alloys/compounds I'll have around 20M worth of minerals.

It looks like misison rats now either have bounties or drop loot, not both.

It gets better. After dying of boredom with the spy missions I decided to have some fun and pick a mission with my level 3 agent. He gives me a mission I've not seen before, "Silence the informant". Sounds easy enough, 2 hours for the bonus? That's unusual. Warp in, 20km from an acceleration gate, crawl towards it in my BS and eventually get there. Use the gate, arrive to find a ton of drones, some sentries and another acceleration gate in the distance. Sounds easy enough right? Wrong! The drones each doing between 20 to 120 damage, averaging 50. Fire heavy missiles, do 60 damage to them. What the hell? The damage is gone in less than 2 seconds. THEN a "Demolisher drone" starts spamming me with heavy missiles faster than I can spam rockets.

I know my skills aren't amazing by any stretch of the imagination but so far I've had to run 9 times in my Raven from these drones because they do damage so fast and so high that in no time my shields are gone, my cap is gone (from boosting shield) and they are sitting there with no damage. This is a level *3* mission. Smartbombs worked against most of them but 4 decide they're going to stay just outside the 5km range of the smartbombs. Is this intended to be so ridiculously hard? I'm so sick of them right now I'm going to try torpedoes but will no doubt laugh when they only do 100 damage.

*Update to the drones* They took 12 torpedoes each, yes that's right 12 torpedoes each to kill. The acceleration gate to the next section is also 113km away from my warp in point which was decided by the first acceleration gate. Thanks CCP, this will really help train my "do absolutely nothing and take forever getting there" skill! Really, who plans these missions and do they try them out themselves before testing? I'm sorry but this is beyond getting beyond stupid.

God, I wish I got that mission... sounds fun for a change.
It's been Seek & Destory, more Seek & Destroy and yep, even more Seek & Destroy the last couple of days. Most of them are Angels, but I get quite a few Sansha's as well.

Oh and I got this 14-jump courier mission from my lvl 3 security agent (whom I have standing 9,4 with).

Oh, and don't fly lvl 3 missions in a battleship. Those drones actually die pretty fast wehn you shoot at them with a frig.

I am doing this mission in my prophecy, had to inteerupt it due to the servers coming down for dt. Laughing
Once i figured how to tank my BC (drones do all types of damage) and that i had to swap a large peroxyde for a webber (webber is the key for gunboats, even with frig sized guns) I can say that it is doable, difficult but doable.
I had to warp off twice since the 4 sentries + Hunter Drones + Devastator Drones were cutting through my tank (BC at lvl 3, 3 EXP-KIN-THE hardeners, T2 med armor rep).
But it is a welcome change, at least for me: some difficulty and brain use rather than warp in-target-turn AB on-approach-turn ab off-turn alltherestofthestuffon-kill-wash/rinse/repeat

Muauauua boohoo waaahaaaa sigh sob.
I have to rethink my last post since I made two deadly mistaked after DT...
1) I did not see that there had been a full respawn
2) I attacked a sentry by mistake, hence I aggroed all the drones, their brothers, sisters and dogs... they came in and I could not warp away (I did not get any scramble animation or message, it looked like they were ramming me or something similar) so now my Prophecy is just dust in the space.
Omgwtfbbqed like a tool.

Someone call a whaaaaaaaaaaaambulance plz Laughing

P.S.
Anyway, the mission is doable in correctly outfitted Prophecy (with good energy/tanking skills I may add)... if you don't act like a **** (like I did rofl)

I got a similar sounding mission, off my lvl 3 agent. It's called pirate extravaganza.

So far, I have been through three acceleration gates, and heading for the fourth (i think)

There were some drones at the second stage (which I had to do twice (had to log for dt)) who dropped some wierd stuff. each 'level' was 20-30 ships, a mix of cruisers and frigs.

The only drawback is the no-MWD thing, which means coasting at 175m/s to each gate.

But it gives me time to post about it, so it can't be all bad...

Beats the living crap out of the spy missions, too...

lol, that mission was fun in sacrilege.... tanking ALL of the drones... lol
nearly broke my tank though, if it wasn't for the fact that I was shooting back :)

Post shiva I've gotten 3 beta hull mod expanders and 2 type D expanders. And I don't do it for the loot.
