hm only six hours left and we hit the 24 hours margin ... in many countries of the world CCP would be after that guilty of fraud and concealment.

LOL You guys have been spoiled by these trouble free patches lately. Back in my day, patches could run two or three days over, and we liked it!

Back then we had to haul tritanium in our Probes, through Gonditsa, both ways!

I have something for all the complainers to do, those who want money back and claim breach of contract. Go open up the EULA and read it word for word. I mean exactly WORD FOR WORD. I never have and never will myself, I have something that resembles a life. But, I'm guessing, just a guess, there is SOMETHING in there related to a "buyer beware" of unexpected server failures, longer than expected patches, extra downtime, etc. etc. I don't guarantee it is there, but any half-twit corporate lawyer would have put something along those lines in the EULA. So, all you whiners, go read it and report back on if/where you find it. Should keep you busy until the server is up.

- Its obvious women are smarter than men... think about it - diamonds are a girls best friend; mans best friend is a dog...

- Yeah but diamonds are pretty much useless in the real word, and are only around to look pretty. ... just like women...

- Well... I'm wrong, diamonds are good for drilling... just like women.

A Caldari man, a Gallente man and an Amarr woman are all on an Interbus shuttle. The pilot gets on the speaker and tells them "hi folks, just so you're aware, we're experiencing intermittent capacitor problems. The lights in the passenger compartment might fail briefly. Please don't be alarmed when it happens."

Sure enough a few minutes later, the lights go out. In the brief darkness, there's a smooching sound and a slap, and when the lights come back up the Gallentean is nursing a bruised jaw.

The Amarrian is thinking: "That Gallente creep must have tried to steal a kiss from me in the dark and kissed the Caldari accidentally. Serve him right!"

The Gallentean is thinking: "What the hell? I guess that Caldari must have kissed the Amarrian and she slapped me in the dark by mistake. Bastard!"

The Caldari is thinking: "This is great! I hope the lights go again so I can make that smooching sound and smack the Gallente again!"

Not to whine too much since I'm happily looking forward to what Tyrannis and PI have to offer, but increasing the link bonus for Rorquals from 5% to 10% per level is just nonsense. The need for the ship to be in deployed mode to get the incremental ship bonus really limits its use anyway. Make it 5% per level or even 3% and forgo the need to be deployed. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't believe there are too many pilots using this buff from a rorqual. Who is going to burn that much heavy water unless you're compressing at the same time as your hulks are mining? Maybe that is the point though. Perhaps CCP's intention is that the primary use of the rorqual is to compress while mining. I just don't see it.

Actually man, this is massive. The current difference between the Orca and Rorqal barely make the Rorqual worth the billions in cost and skills, not to mention months of training time. This is especially true when you consider that the Orca doesn't have to be deployed.

Doubling the link bonuses takes the Rorqual yield per hour increase from a possible 60% yield per hour increase with max skills and the implant to a whopping 73.6% yield per hour increase when a fleet is mining ore. (115% normal yeild / 63.25% cycle time = 76.3 yeild/hour) That definitely makes it worth deploying. A few thousand m3 of fuel is a drop in the bucket compared to what you're yielding.

Oh, and yes. The point of the Rorqual is to be a mining foreman. Boosting yield and compressing the return is what the ship is for! what I wouldn't do is deploy the ship in the middle of an unsecured belt. Use a disposable small POS as a safety zone to deploy in.

Now the last 6 months of skill training feels more worth the effort! Thanks CCP from both me and my corp!Very Happy

....3..2..1...Hack! (+2 hrs and 9 minutes) Damn, I guess we just missed the 1800 UTC update.

CCP if u post information, ensure it is accurate! I don't care if the patching takes longer, just do as u say. 1800 UTC is 1800 UTC, so tell us what the estimated time of operation will be. You know it's just us, the paying customers. Confused

It's not firing at the planet. I think it is sending down a supply canister as well as recieving a canister being sent up from the surface.

It now says:

"This is likely to continue beyond our original schedule and we will have an update for you at 20:00 UTC."

Did I miss the 20:00 update? I don't see one?

Like most of you, I don't mind them taking longer than they originally said. Servers F$%úck up, its not their fault. I do wish they'd tell us though. Information is nice.

Funny thing, according to this: http://www.eveonline.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=3913&tid=1
...they were going to give us more news fifteen minutes ago.

Anyone want to lay odds on their saying they'll have more news at 22:00 in an hour and a half?
