If you have not updated you're client I suggest it be done so you can get in game faster.

Use the Auto-Updater or the following link for Window's users.

This is NOT the right version for the patch, you risk screwing your upgrade path using this. Wait until they do post deployment testing then auto install it.

You have been warned. This has happened before.

Funny, that's basically the same thing I said.

You may download this patch, but I strongly recommend not to install it before you know that CCP indeed deployed 154366 today.

You'd think I'd have learned better than to read the Patch thread on Patch day. It's like trying to run a MENSA membership booth at the Special Olympics.

To be honest, this new expansion doesnt light my fire. It is like a non expansion, woot we can now make more stuff, the sun will be nicer to look at and the scorpion got a new face. Lets make the game more carebear.....woot again. Im new to the game , but from what i hear and see on old video, eve was better before i started. Mass fleet battles etc, last night we had a bit of fun in haut and it just seemed like the game couldnt handle all the action.
Any improvement is good , but maybe we should concentrate on making the game less corky when fleet battles take pace. If i wanted facebook i would sign up to facebook. I love eve, you guys have done good work , just seems like you have lost you way.

Keep this up and we will have handgrenades that give your ship a mohawk haircut in no time.

I agree. But everyone flames me when I talk about it. haha :) LOL MOHAWK Haircuts

flame you? I never flamed you! prove that I flamed you or I shall storm out in a mincing fashion!

starting after installing that patch works quite well tbh, can't see the point what should be wrong. And even if it really won't start later, there's still the repair.exe file...

For anyone still too confused about what time the UTC time is in your part of the world, Windows 7 (and maybe older versions) allow you to show multiple clocks - just set 1 of them to show Coordinated Universal Time and you'll have UTC alongside local time.
I renamed my clock to Eve Time to avoid any confusion...

On your taskbar, click the clock and open the clock\calendar window. Select Change Date and Time settings, additional clocks, Coordinated Universal Time... easy

it's in one hour damn it

Noon Greenwich Mean Time is not necessarily the moment when the noon sun crosses the Greenwich meridian (and reaches its highest point in the sky in Greenwich) because of Earth's uneven speed in its elliptic orbit and its axial tilt. This event may be up to 16 minutes away from noon GMT (this discrepancy is known as the equation of time). The fictitious mean sun is the annual average of this nonuniform motion of the true Sun, necessitating the inclusion of mean in Greenwich Mean Time.

I hope that clears it up once and for all.

What Does UTC stand for!?

(seriously though, doesn't matter, just use a time converter to convert from UTC to your current timezone.. (If you dont know what time zone you are in its time to start googling again (and the world is a bigger place than your town))

UTC is same as GMT and Zulu Time, it means universal time....not bed time so dont worry lol. Just seems funny after 7 years of playing EVE its always the same, players whine about the downtime like its past last orders down at the pub and no way of getting more alchohol from anywhere, do you whine about the downtime with yer GF when its time of month so much ? So what is it about EVE that hurts so much to go just 1 day without sitting in a station somewhere or pointing a laser at a rock ?

Now would be a good time for you hardcore eve players to go outside and experience the sunlight for the first time in a decade or so.... Maybe drink a beer... heck even shower.

Make a copy of your installation directory, download the patch displayed in this forum, then patch the copy. When CCP finally releases the auto update and opens the server, try the copied version first, then if it doesnt work auto update the original. No harm done.

Hi, I've got a problem and a related question:

I started the game about three weeks ago on a trial, soon after I subscribed. Even after I ran the full version update it still reads: 6.21.127381. No sign of Tyrannis whatsoever on the computer.

Dominion launches and while before I had the option to apply a patch after login (which didn't do a thing)now I only got the message that I have the wrong version... Any suggetsions before I try to update this patch again?
