I'm not sure if it's a case of being humble or old age getting to it's directorship but I have seen no announcement celebrating this eventful day so I have taken it upon myself to at least mention it.

Yesterday 6th May, marks seven years of PIE Inc fighting for the Empire.

It was a very different time with a capsuleer community much smaller than today which didn't even have access to many of the things we take granted now such as tech 2 or warp to 0. Pirates plagued the Hama and Sarum Prime systems and oracle terrorists seem to be hiding behind every moon. Jade Constantine still posted walls of lies on this summit however so some things never change it seems.

Over seven years this small but loyal corporation worked extremely hard to help preserve Amarrian values and defend the Empire. From assisting in the pacification of the pirate infested systems around Amarr to helping secure freedom on Providence from Ushra'Khan tyranny. PIE Inc has always just been there and its deeds are too numerous to mention.

Admiral Rodj Blake does a good job summarising things however here:

Timeline of PIE Inc

I'd like to thank those fine Amarr loyalists in PIE Inc for all their hard work over the years. You have been an inspiration to so many and I'm hoping you all continue to inspire for the next 7 years. Keep up the great work.

Amarr Victor.

Congratulations are in order here.

Happy to note that Archbishop stepped down considering the membership numbers of PIE have fallen by nearly 50%

I agree, we must celebrate the decline of PIE inc. More and more people are seeing the error of their ways and repenting their sins.

The world as we know it has evolved and clearly there no longer is a place for this fossil.

Though seven years of existing and holding a noticeable presence is indeed worth celebrating. I have no friendly ties towards PIE or any amarr loyalist group but I will not deny them of this claim to self pride.

Congratulations PIE.
May this date bring your pride back together with memories of time when you were still something at space and not galnet stalkers.
May we see golden fleets and wars and all of what once made you what you were supposed to be, not this pathetic conglomerate of IGS ghosts which make your ancestors scream on their tombs.

7 years is indeed a noticeable mark but let it serve you to remember that mere existing is not the same as living.

Rise from your slumber and become something of a worth enemy again.

Congragulations PIE.

Respect where it is due regardless of opinion - you have indeed been at it for quite some time now, I suspect you will continue to do so for some time more.

An anniversary thread is no place to speak ill of the organization celebrating it. Congratulations to PIE Inc. for longevity, seven years is nothing to be discounted.

They got perserverance, I'll give 'em that much. ugh

In the greater record of events, it's actually quite a rare and remarkable achievement; there must be thousands of capsuleer organisations that have fallen away over the years, that noone will ever remember or associate with action of note.

It takes a special infamy to be recognised by name alone; PIE has left deep footprints in memory's hallways, both inspiring the citizens of their repressive Empire and fanning the angry fire of resolve in their opponents.

PIE have definitely earned their notorious place in history.

As I have just passed my sixth year in PIE a few days ago I took pause to reflect on the legacy of this one of the Eve clusters oldest corporations. Through good times and bad, through success and failure, through victory and defeat on the fields of battle the spirit of PIE is today what it always has been. Service to God and Empire our mission, our purpose, our reason for being. Just a couple of weeks ago as I led 30+ ship Golden Fleet of Amarrian loyalists into pirate infested space and around the edges of the Minmatar Republic I was reminded of that noble spirit. Just last week reading the report of another Golden Fleet lead by Admiral Rodj Blake I was again given a moment of pause to appreciate all that membership in PIE has brought to me. Just as the ebbs and flows of waves on a beach mark the passage of time so do the ebbs and flows of our history. Friends and loyalists may come and go, fleets may be large or small, corporation rosters may grow and shrink as the requirements of planetside duties take their toll, our enemies my die out and be reborn, still the battle rage on.

It is a battle where you win some and lose some. Not every day brings a great victory and we will not claim seven years of nothing but accomplishments rather we will simply claim that for seven years we have done the best we could for one purpose witout fail. In the end PIE has already won for we have stayed true to our focus and our cause for all this time. For God and Empire.

I quite agree. PIE Inc. remain a foe of freedom that can never quite be discounted and will no doubt need to be opposed in the future as they have been in the past.

Their tenacity should never be disregarded however misguided their cause.
