Then, we see people complaining there isnt much PvP. That people have no stimulus to engage in combat if outnumbered, and that the only PvP you get is with a dozen gate camping the other side and stuff...

Now, if someone blow me up, I get kill rights. Those kill rights expire in 1 month.

Now, WTF? How's that supposed to be fair? Even I want to be a pirate with rules like that, with enemies vanishing in 1 month.

I wanna be able to blow his ass off *whenever* I get across him. Either in high or low sec.

This only stimulate the ***** pirates, that work to keep their standing nearby 0 to fly by high sec. So they basically get the same protection as me, with positive standing, inside high sec. Is this fair?

Please, balance this. Kill rights should be forever, until you get the revenge.

After thinking about this for a while I have decided that I too would like the people I have previously killed to come back and have another shot at me time after time. This will save me hours of trying to find people I can solo and have them just turn up on my doorstep.

Awesome idea, 10/10.

I advocate or oppose anything that Lana advocates or opposes.

Honestly, this would be quite nice.

ITT: OP just got his missioning golem CONCORDed when he fired on a nearby hauler he THOUGHT he had killrights on.

Then, various people rightfully make fun of him.

Please leave kill-rights alone, they make me a Ton of Isk

To OP: Learn to hunt, you'd be surprised how many "pirates" run Lvl 4's to make Isk/ control sec/ get jump clones etc.

With a little patience (well a lot actually) and a CEO who doesn't give a damn about killboard stats, kill right "farming" can be very profitable (not to mention fun)Twisted Evil

I would like to see the option to sell killrights to others. Would allow a new form of "bounty hunters", or people that like to buy killrights and shoot criminals in highsec!

NO, NO stupid troll. That is what low sec is for. Concord like police irl. You can't commit any crimes with them around.

I say get rid of kill rights altogether.

unless you are travelling each system 1 by 1 looking for your killright, it's pretty easy to locate someone. 1 month is a good time to get your revenge and if you are unable to it in the meantime, then its your incompetence and naturally you lose your chance. You idea would lead to none of the pvp chars being able to haul stuff in highsec and therefore limit their game capability. Lots of pvp chars out there have freighters and haulers... I assume you lost your precious ship and afraid to lose again so you want to catch him in a hauler instead of facing him when he is in a pvp boat?

Hardcore pirates have < -5.0 sec so you don't need killright to shoot most of them anyway and you won't see them in highsec as well. So yeah I agree "jlkajsdljih asjlkj jdsakhlkjlsa " makes more sense than this post :)

basically if you're not gonna put in the effort to kill him within one month, you wont get revenge ever.
so why dont you just do one, and then die in a fire.

Actually I see two ideas that I'd like to get added to this game. Kill rights lasting forever (just until avenged of course) + tradeable kill rights..

The combination would make bounty hunting fun again, and make hisec alot less safe for everyone. Which are both good things in my book.

Or, kill rights still only last 30 days...

(wait for it)

...but during those 30 days you get to kill that target as many times as you want.

I have tried this in the past but I haven't really been able to find appropriate targets. Would you mind sharing a few tips? I'm doing it wrong. Very Happy

Step 1: Go to mission hub.
Step 2: Watch people warp to missions, get names.
Step 3: Check BattleClinic or whatever, and see if they pew pew in low sec.
Step 4: Wait forever.
Step 5: Run locator agents, find dude when he's in low sec.
Step 6: Insult his fuzzy dice, or lack thereof.
Step 7: Die!
Step 8: Jump him next time he's in a mission.

Is this your basic plan? I've never been able to get it to work for me. Sad

Nothing wrong with 30 day time limit.

But you should be able to transfer killrights for ISK. Pay someone, transfer your killright to them, and voila- instant bounty hunter service.

Finally, someone that's not just trolling and actually understood what I'm saying.

Imagine if in the wild west you had no right to shoot some dirty bag after one month, otherwise the Sheriff would jail you! That makes no ****ing sense, if you make enemies, enemies are forever. Kill rights should accumulate until someone gets their revenge.

This would only make the game more fun, as more PvP would happen in high sec too.

PS: Thanks for the ones making fun of me about the english! But... you know... not everybody is born in a country where this is the native language. Now go **** yourself in the ass with your language pride.

Permanent kill rights + Trading kill rights = abuse waiting to happen :)

Easy. Create a char, Fit ibis, flip cans, Get shot, die, Farm out kill rights, sell em to mercs. Watch the tears roll in :)

*coughs*
kill rights
when innocently roamoing about low sec and some group that will totally trash your ship turns up DONT FIRE BACK, this will give you a nice little group to run locator agents on and hunt down
best ship to gain kill rights in would be ratting frigates, they are cheap
best area's, any militiz low sec as they will always love to get as many people on the km as possable
i hope that helps Very Happy
