hey guys hope you can help me :)

Just a few questions on how to kill those haulers in high sec, (The NPC ones)
I know the range of the station is 160ks so a sniping ship is essential.
How do i know if the navy will engage me? i know concord dosent. but ive heard some tricks where the navy wont engage if the hauler is leaving the station or something.
How much of a sec hit will it do?
How much dps dose the station guns do?
and can it be worth it?

If theres anymore ifo that i need pls say so Smile

The navy doesn't care, but stay 100km+ off the station or the guns will shoot you. Only shoot haulers APROACHING the station.
No sec hit, but it will tank the owning NPC corp standing.

What do you mean by "but it will tank the owning NPC corp standing."

Btw could i tank the guns with 741 defense rating long enough to redock?

First of all you will take a standing hit to the npc corp that the haulers belong to, so pick a corp you don't care about.

Second try to find a system where there are no duplicate stations for any one corp (will explain why in a minute).

Go to the station for the corp you have decided to attack and wait for the haulers to start leaving. This may take a while since you have to wait for the convoy to form up.

When the convoy has formed they will warp to another station in the same system. Simply watch which direction they shoot off in and work out which station they are going to. Then warp there yourself and beat them to it.

If the station they warp to is not owned by the same npc corp the station guns will not open fire on you (the reason for picking a system with several different corp stations in it), Feel free to engage at your leisure. Any half decent cruiser fit will do the job easily.

Loot the wrecks and sell the goods. As to whether it is all worth it is a matter of personal taste, since the loot is generally not worth very much

Just curious, but is there any profit in shooting those NPC haulers?

No trit? I assumed the haulers were full of trit since they are in 0.0? They just carry NPC trade goods or what? How much ISK per kill?

Would love to have something else to do with my alt than mission for ISK.

Crap loot, me and a mate did it and insta poped the haulers in our BSs.
All they haul is commodities such as wine, seeds ect there are some stuff that is worth about 1k ea but drops verry little.
Any idea if the loot tables change between sec status of the system?

Wait, what? Concord DOESN'T attack you in high sec if you blow the haulers to smithereens? In that case, how easy is it to tank/kill the police, if they intervene (no FW pilot here).

Them haulers are useless and not worth the time it takes to find them.
Now, back in 2003 they were filled with goodies like harvester drones... YARRRR!!

if i remember right

there is some mods needed for pos fuel , like mechanical parts and oxygene , etc.
dunnot if those can be found somewhere else (probly bunkers in random missions)

when trying to get my own fuel for a pos i found those are the pieces i lack the most
maybe there money to be made collecting those and selling on market

but i doubt its better then just running missions
