Being able to create t1 modules/ships is nice and all but it's really all about t2 production, trade, being able to fuel a pos and logistics.
2 alts with the required skills for t2 invention/production can CLEAR 2b a month profit with a high-sec pos, pos fuel delivery services and a bunch of trade skills in order to set up buy orders for minerals. This means you don't need to mine for them or worry about any kind of manual labor for the alts. Just login to those alts before you login to your main, deal with any logistics/moving bpc's/moving minerals from the station to the equipment arrays.
You need 1 large pos. 2 labs, 2 advanced labs, 4 equipment assembly arrays, 1 component assembly array.
A bunch of guns/ecm to scare away the idiots.
Several bpo's you wish to build against - you'll need 5 or 6 bpo's for a particular module. Build modules not ships.
Somewhere around 1b in seed money for the t2 production materials, pos fuel and datacores is probably a good amount for running for about a month.

- really awesome for working out potential modules to build in your regional market.
The catch is you need to login every day to do the invention/manufacturing.
Each manufacturing job lasts around 20 hours or less for a 10 run t2 bpc made from invention.
Invention itself is pretty quick - usually around an hour - but then you need to make a LOT of copies of the t1 bpo. The other thing you need to make sure of is your RAM Tech is made and your t1 versions are made (you need these as a manufacturing component and they take a while to make sometimes).
If you can be mining in 0.0 on your main and do this as well on 2 alts. You can clear many billions per month.
