Which one? There were like 3 of them.

There was the nano nerf which introduced stacking penalties on nano mods
there was the nano nerf which removed the speed bonus on nanofibers
There was the nano nerf which caused mwd's to be shut down by scramblers
And now that I think about it, there were probably a few others. I seem to recall there was a time when CCP reduced the speed of several ships so that they couldn't be nanofit for a speed tank.

My interpretation of a "TOTALHELLDEATH" expansion.

1. Right Click in local, wtz
2. Exploding ship will deal grid wide damage
3. Shooting a station will eject everybody inside it
4. Warp Disrupting a gate will send whoever went trough it to random system
5. After podding someone, the pilot will be ejected in his space suit, he then have to swim to the nearest station.

I think CCP will go bankrupt if they actually did any this.

1) get rid of all stargate travel, and, instead, introduce jump drives for all ships, small for frigs, med for cruisers, large for BS through caps,etc, with jump ranges to some matching scale.

2)a galactic navigation system. What I mean is, you have to use a starmap, you need to calculate your jumps, etc..I propose that how far you can jump is cap-dependent in some way. also, skills to increase the precision of your jumps. need an element of randomness here.

3)atmospheric anomalies. we have some of this with W-space, we need more. I want to see effects that can pull you out of jump, black holes, etc.

4) remove learning skills, they are ****ing pointless.

5)fleet formations.

2. Siege mode for Mining Ships. (Bonus to miners and gankers alike.)

6. (Bonus) Self Destructing pods do AoE damage based on the amount of Skill Points you wish to sacrifice. Oh yeah, I said it.
7. Bonus! Bonus! WH's suck everything in nearby and throw them at breakneck speed thru the other side. Wrecks, stationary ships, corpses, prostitutes whatever.

OFC these are not even close to balanced or even remotely for the good of the game, but they suit my purposes so what of it?

I for one wouldnt have removed the nano nerf I would have put more tools to counter it, unfourtunatly countering something that powerful would have almost required redoing the game from ground up, make a gun track too well and frigates lose thier advantage and of course outflying missiles is a bad thing.

Not sure whats wrong with the dramiel its a faction ship last I checked and im pertty sure they rerolled it inline with its cousins.

I would furhter nerf lvl 3 and 4 missions by removing all tech 1 loot ammo included without compensation for lost items on loot table (in other words less gear drops overall) meta level items will still drop. This may boost industrialsts making this game more depended on players.

I would also revamp the mission engine to allow for more than just kill and mail man that may take more thinking to get done including having neutral and friendly npcs showing up (and different colored)

Introduce a new line of tech 2 battlecruisers featuring the tier 2 hulls instead of hasing and being lazy with the old ones.

Poast is eve forum speak for crap posting. As far as a sentence that 'flows' corectly blame my automatic grammar killer plugin that randomly misspells and screws up the syntax of my poasting for the sole reason of ****ing off a specific mindset. Very Happy

I would make one single change. I'd do away with the current avionic and weapon controls (point and click) and replace them with Freelancer style gameplay, where you get to manouver and aim your own ship and guns. I'd marry this game if that ever happened.

I'm not sure how 5 works, I ran caldari missions a lot, then stopped for a long time, and am now running again. if my -6 or w/e it is gallente standing makes me a valid gallente target so be it. I'm a bit torn between saying the players should police, or the faction npc police should get buffed.

and probably level 1 and 2 missions should either be exempted, or some standings level exemption, or maybe just in heavily policed systems.

although I think I'd rather see some incremental sliders on ships rather than rig/subsystem everything. drop some armor add some shield, drop the pg a bit add some cpu. take 25m3 off the drone bay and add some more thrusters. and perfect!

subsystems are kinda meh. pretty much every stat but slot layout is only affected by 1 subsystem I think.

and not really a fan of the jumpdrive for everyone.

All t1 ships use subsystems. Note! This means removal of tier system, etc.

All ships have a stardrive.... Make gates more scarce. Allow for 'cut off' systems.. That people with a long enough drive can jump to. Ships land somewhere within 1 au of the sun. Cynos can be used to direct ships to a specific point. Also, increase cyno fitting cost. No more cyno kessies.. Ideally, a battleship only module.. and even then you should need to make sacrifices. Imagine you placing a giant supercomputer on your ship to relay jump parameters.
Force recon ships maintain special abilities regarding cyno (+fitting boost. No sacrifice, other than the highslot, should be needed)

Remove local as an intel tool. Covert ops ships(ONLY) with a probe hit on a target get corp info of ship, 4 probes gives character. Or something suitable to replace..

Boost nullsec ratting, either through harder rats+more bounties, or something like an NPC pos Cool

1.) Make faction ships even better but harder to get, for exmaple only from rat drops rather than missions. Then improve ships such as deimos so that it is more like the vigilant. Or the tempest more like the mach. All inties like the dram. ect ect

2.) FIX LAG OMFG CCP

3.) improve UI.

4.) Bring back tha nano. But for lolz reverse scram change but keep web change.

5.) Look at all ships that are considered underpowered. Bring a list of possible changes and show that to us asap. we will pick hole in it pretty darn fast.

Simple ones

- recons also give a bonus to cap/fuel cost of ship jumping too them.

- Make concord ships responsible for dealing with -5 sec people in empire.

- Fix insurance, either remove or have some sort of ratting so if you lose ships all the time your insurance cost goes up, or make insurance payout based on the price of the ship today.

- Move the god damn fake ladar (gas cloud) hacking sites back to radar where they belong.

- dynamic agent quality (level?) so we don't end up with crowded mission systems (miniscule boost to low sec).

Complex ones

1 - Boost boosters. make more types of boosters (4th/5th slot), make the gas clouds more available or last longer and let sovereingty upgrades increase the number/chance of ladar sites in system. remove the restriction's to fitting reactors on med pos. Add an addiction to boosters that can be held off by using regular drugs, make it possible to produce the regular drugs through planetary interaction.

2 - Rework minmatar flexibility. Make it so we are flexible as a race not just have individual ships with flexibility. Allow us to have ships that perform well in their designed function instead of having to rely on flexibility, dps or nano to make them balanced with their counterparts. Let the minmatar cepters and alpha bs really shine compared to their counterparts not have trouble working out which is faster/biger alpha.

3 - Change 0.0 in 3 steps.
Add 3 levels to system sovereignty that determine what upgrades are allowed how much it costs per month and how much infrastructure there is.
Create structres that greatly reduce the maintanance cost but can be destroyed, make them customizable with minor defenses and capable of up to double efficiency so you only need half of them from a day to reduce the cost (to allow TZ wars). Also add some minor defense structures, objects, bonuses, fighters or something to help locals defend.
Give bonuses for having nearby blue systems; able to transfer over excess if a system had it's maintanance cost reducing structures destroyed, send over defense structures if contested, require more SBU's to be setup if the neighbouring system is blue.

4 - Make mining more interactive and fun. Make the roids much bigger, but comprised of 3 levels common (veld etc.) uncommon (jaspet etc.) rare (ark etc.) so you could have 3 + ores in a single roid. To find the unco/rare ores you'd need to scan the asteroid first, small chance that if the roid has lots of a particular type it would be visable from outside. Mining 1 of the types would cause damage/destroy the other layers and for unco/rare would bring in some of the upper layers, increase of value of rare/unco ores to compensate. Empire would remain pretty much the same so empire still is afk mining low/0.0 is pay attention and scan mining.

5 - Add more randomness.
named items no longer scale linear each meta level specializes in a different aspect (eg. range, dmg, rof, cpu).
Mineral costs no longer scale linearly. For example proj weapons/ammo, nano equipment etc. require more of the minerals you can find in minmatar space. Or some items just require more high end minerals such as advanced electronics or armour plates take lots of noxc etc. (yeah I don't know anything about economics but I think this would be more interesting)
POS no longer scale linearly. small are good for outposts; harvesting, storage, jump bridges. med are good for operations; labs, reactors, factories. large are deathstars; pew pew.

You know, there are bounties in level 5 missions.

It's just that you don't get bounties for ships from the empire factions and drones.
But that's also the case in all other missions...

Introduce T1 construction components for T1 ships and modules, to add another layer of production and diversity to the current S&I.
They'd have the same material cost in the end, but allows for a little more diversity in what you can produce.

Revamp Mining to make a lot more user interactive, kinda like how that was done with scanning.

Make scanning harder, although the old system had its flaws and took forever, atleast it required skill and patience.
In the new system a 3 day old character could probably scan down most of the sites in a matter of minutes.
The skill difference in what you can find and fast you can find it should be bigger.

Revamp the tracking formula and how it correlates to damage.
As long as the target's transversal is at or below your gun's tracking, it should recieve no penalty in hitting the target.

Fix rockets, up the damage a little and modify the explosion radius/velocity to do significant damage to Frigs and full damage to anything above.

Take a good long look at ships such as the Hyperion, Prophecy, Retribution and the Myrmidon a little as well, they all fill roles that other ships can generally do far better.

Some ships also need a little stat change, such as the Cyclone needing a CPU boost so you can fit a Large Shield Booster and setup without having to use a CPU enhancer.

Buff the Legion, it is outclassed in just about everything by the other T3 cruisers, it could use a small dronebay (Amarr are the 2nd most drone-using race) from a few subsystems and another turret slot would help it deal a little more damage.

Fix sound, it was far more reliable in the old sound engine.
Fit a bunch of Electron Blasters to a Ferox or Brutix, fire them one by one and start counting how many shots are not being heard.

Exploration ships, there are plenty of suggestions for them, pick one.
