You engage a ship and the server knowing everything, simply tell you how long it takes before the other ship blows up with the current damage output.
You're being facetious, I know. But it's still good idea. The server doesn't know everything. It doesn't know how you're going to move, or switch ammo, or use e-war mods so, it can't predict the future. It can only estimate your chance of victory based on limited information like Time=HP+Shield boost+armor repair/DPS. Because of that, you have both a "chance to win" and a "chance to loose" and the challenge is to try and keep our "chance to win" higher than your "chance to loose". It would be a great help.
