I found the handy flash tracking guide in the wiki for turrets. Is there anything similar for missiles? I'd like to be able to actually see how much explosion velocity and radius affect damage.

Here's the current missile damage formula:

Damage = Base_Damage * MIN(MIN(sig/Er,1) , (Ev/Er * sig/vel)^(log(drf) / log(5.5)) )

Where
sig = ship's signature
vel = ship's velocity
Er = Explosion Radius of missile
Ev = Explosion Velocity of missile
drf = Damage Reduction Factor of missile

Essentially there's two parts to it: there's a straight ship signature/Explosion radius reduction, then there's the complicated velocity one.
It differs from the older formula in that missiles will now deal some damage, rather than being almost completely negated, to fast ships.
