It all started when I was bored and decided to make a name for myself. I thought that what could be better then getting spys in most if not all the major alliances and taking out their sov. Unfortunately I am not that good so you guys will have to do for now. Don't feel bad though you are not the only ones in this situation others will come when the moment is right. Other then that have fun and enjoy empire.

And for those of you who don't get it I got a spy in their alliances and got rid of their space. Fun times.

Yes, only 3 alliances, but not the others. The problem becomes more apparent to those alliances who have most of their TCU run by one corp. They need billions sitting in their wallet if they have autopay set. If you have 100+ tcu's bills all dued at once (or close to each other) and no isk in wallet....failure cascade

Thing is, i doubt that three corps in three alliances, would lose sov on the same day at the exact same time? Its possible explanation, but i don't think that is IT....

If it is IT, then I wonder would not having enough cash to covers SOV mean they would lose only some systems or all systems?

Keep in mind that the way the billing system works, systems that already had sov when Dominion kicked in all became due at the exact same time. This lines up pretty well with when billing became active - IIRC it was on a Tuesday.

This is true, but only half of it, if there was not enough cash in the corp wallet to cover SOV would it fail all payments or would it pay off systems in a certain order until the ISK ran out?

I believe the systems that were lost are the ones that were on the original timer day 1 dominion. which explains why all the sov wasn't dropped.

No, he's right. There are a number of Goon systems held by their holding corp which still have sov and pre-date Dominion.

Has this been confirmed? And it's my knowledge that you can't move a TCU without resetting the timer. AFAIK Dotlan's data should reflect any periods of non-sov, even momentarily.

to answer your question i'm currently flying around delve in the systems that still have sov. Thus far the tcu's are at pos's meaning they were moved. But i can't yet confirm all remaining sov is the same.

If you look at the station system of 7UTB-F for example, it has a strategic index of 5, so it has had sov for 100+ days. This is a system that was held by the Goon holding corp, so it should have fallen like the rest since they shouldn't have been able to move the TCU.

If this ends up sticking after DT, does that mean we get to see the world's longest "Sov Lost" column on Verite's map? Very Happy

I heard that this was really a bug, but it will not be fixed because too many alliances and solar systems are affected.

Will it be fixed if 25% of the affected alliances' members click the 'Cancel Subscription' button? What about 50%?

If this is true, someone ppl from ccp must lose their jobs. Despite that some of those alliance aren't very fond to my heart and this don't make me sad, if this is a bug this is really going out of control. If it is a same human error then this will be another epic part of history of the game. But yeah, I am "sure" that the dev's will give a official answer quickly.
