No one is questioning your right to epeen wag over the sbu shooty. It would be cool if the issue tonight was decided w/o the intervention of the node instability followed by crash followed by a large % of our forces (and I'm sure lots of yours) unable to get back in game. Think of it this way: the attacker must alarm clock four times over a one week period to prevail (assuming TZ Ping Pong). You all bring your peeps, we bring our peeps, local zooms up to ~1300. This is all by design of the sov system. You all got screwed last night with the station given we were able to get more peeps in faster to hit the station...you all get a final timer for during the week USTZ. We had another epic turn out tonight and we are all left with a crashed node and gimped fleets. In the end, Goons may very well have prevailed straight up given the numbers and fleet composition. None of us have an issue with that; you all needed a good turn out after last night's station whelp. Given the completely borked state of 0.0 warfare atm right now, none of us knows for sure what would have happened. We had additional forces to call on as well that you all may not have factored into your predictions. |

You do realize that it's because you brought so many people on your side that the node crashed, right? So in essence, it's your own damn fault. |

I realize that we brought lots of people and you Mr. Mushroom brought lots more people and the node crashed. The outcome may have been the same regardless but we'll never know for certain. Vorick-the iHub was in no danger. We couldn't get folks back into the game to shoot it down before the SBU was redowned. I woulda been happy if I had at least gotten in on redchief's thanny kill at the iHub but my launcher's wouldn't activate. That's the random thing about this node stuff, last night you all couldn't get enough folks in before we could down the station and tonight, we couldn't get more than 50 guys back into fleet to hit the iHub. |

At no point tonight did we outnumbered you. Also, it was really cool of you to bring a Drake and then sit way far from anything important to kill. You and the 6-8 other drakes were super useful tonight. |

We know the outcome. We killed the SBU. We saved the system, again. You guys are back at square one. Whatever might have been is irrelevant. You can expect this, in one way or another, until you give up your invasion. This is what goons do, log in night after night after night until we get what we want. Meanwhile your allies will falter and fail, leaving you high and dry. Remind your leadership of this and ask them why they got talked into invading Goonspace and throwing your time and your ships away. |

get out and stop posting forever Nobody really wants them to give up their invasion. In favor of what, boring blood raider jewing? Instead you get near guaranteed fights, every day, firmly in US prime, only one jump or a couple of bridges from our basing systems, with plenty of terrible enemies to shoot, watching them fail despite advantages on all fronts - I mean how can you possibly even make it better than this? At this rate I'd do this 365 days a year. It only sucks when they blob so hard that the node crashes or goes belly up. |

I have talked it over with allied forces, from now on we will bring on rifter per alliance, trusting you will do the same. Our rifters will battle and the surviving ones will reinforce/destroy the sov structures. Everyone else in each alliance will stay at least 5 jumps out in order to ensure the node does not crash. This will prevent it from being our fault by logging in to many people to shoot at your "just right" amount of people.

Sadly they all died. That's what, 8 SBUs down tonight? (one of which died twice, to be fair) At 250 mill apiece, that's a lota Rifters. |

I'm beginning to wonder how the upcoming changes to sov mechanics are going to affect this war. With SBU kills not setting the attacker back to square one, should be very interesting. |

This is already the case, was 'fixed' in a recent patch. Makes **** all difference. What is needed is slightly more timer variance (say, 4 hours either side) to get figths on the edges of timezones without the need for soul destroying alarm-clock ops (which anyone with a life won't bother attending), and still giving defenders a good chance too. Or, just bring back POS warfare and move POS to planets. At least you could kite POS. |
