Hi,
i have just finished the 5 free days with my second account (no trial!) and wanted to reactivate it for the reduced price of 9,95 . This worked well for my main account but on my second account i don't have the button (link) for this reactivation after logging into the account management.

The corresponding mail says "Returning players who have reactivated through this promotion can re-subscribe at a reduced rate for the first month. This offer won't last long, so be sure to sign up before February 21st, 2010 to qualify for this special deal."

There is even a "Rejoin-EVE-for-9.95-button" in that mail but following this link results in an error message.

Did i miss something?

ooooh man, if I were you I would change the account pw ASAP. some phishing emails use the tactic you just described.

There is a legitimate offer from CCP with this deal.
It's how I just resubscribed.

Don't really have much advice for Pasoh though.

Maybe you have to resubscribe before the 5 days runs out to get the cheap price?

I dunno; didn't read it that closely. I got the mail, read some of the patch notes for Apocrypha and Dominion, did a trial and liked what I saw so restarted my real account. I gave my billing info on third or fourth day of the free ones.

I trust this mail (EVE Online <newsletters@mail.eveonline.com>). The link for the 5-Day offer in the mail i have got a few days earlier also worked. I've got exactly the same mails for my main-account and all was fine and everything worked as described.

I have tried that before the 5 days ran out but no "special-offer-button" appeared. And remember this part in the mail:

indeed there is, but I also got emails that used the CCP legit ones, and even w****d the url so that it *might* look like you're getting into a CCP site (something like http://<insert phishing url here>/https://eve-online)

I even got the same eve-mail the OP is talking about, wich is weird since I don't have any more accounts than this one and, as you can see, is activeRazz


anyways, take a good look at the email, and petition if you still get problems on the resubscribe thing.

Clear your cookies or temp switch browser, you will then be able to activate your second account.

As other players have suggested, please submit a petition under "Billing & Account" and Customer Support will investigate the matter for you.

Thanks for reply. I have already tried to file a petition but unfortunately i can't log in with the regarding account -i guess because it isn't active. So i will try to follow the advice to delete cookies/temp.

Also reactivated account for the 5 free days and want to use the reduced price for first month... but of course it doesn't work at all - the link from mail just send me into the reactivation page that show Error. Tried different web browsers, cleaning cache and cookies, filed a petition... and so far nothing have changed. And all that in the month that I run a tight budget.
