I watched the video on scanning and using probes, so I bought myself Astrometrics and am currently training it. In the meantime, I decided I'd fit my Zeph with a probe launcher, but it's telling me I can't even bring it online, due to the fact that there is 0.0 power to sustain it.
I don't see any other fitting slots, so what should I do? Or am I confused, is there some other way to launch space scanning probes? or to install them?
Any help is appreciated, thank you. |

I think you need to use the prototype probe launcher.. but i am not sure atm. anyway i hope that works. |

Ah, you know what, I'm completely blind. There WAS, in fact, a prototype launcher provided with the ship... just didn't notice it in my cargo until a few seconds ago. lol Well, perhaps this thread will be helpful to others. |

Be careful...the Zephyr has a miserably slow align time to get out of a jam (despite it being as small and light as it is). I have caught a few in wormholes with little trouble. So little I almost feel bad about it (almost  ). There are other things to probe of course...just a heads-up. |

yeah there is only one probe launcher that works with the zypher, and it won't work on any other ship.
I dont see a use for the zypher as scanning and cloaking go together like kraft and nathans.
Scanning will open up a whole new world for you to explore in eve, and if you get serious about it, your going to need to cloak while you scan. |

You mean like spaghetti and tuna fish? Or perhaps you would be more comfortable with peanut butter and ham salad? |
