About the Hel...

If it were to keep the RR amount bonus, it would need to retain the ability to fit Triage modules, since non-triaged RRs are not all that useful in supercapital scenarios (this would open a can of worms we may want to keep sealed though).

The drone/fighter speed bonus mentioned would be nice, no doubt, but can not compete with the 25% resistances of Aeon/Wyvern.

Traditionally, in sub-capital world, Minmatar is about mobility. Increasing max speed doesn't help as long as we can not ram outposts, even at 200m/s levels.
Increasing agility only helps to warp away after jumping to a cyno, but helps little in scenarios in which the Hel should be (ie, not alone).

So let's try improved capital mobility, which basically is jumprange. Carriers do have an edge over dreadnoughts here, and from that experience we know that in combined fleets it is simply ignored, as it is neither enough to skip a midway cyno nor worth the trouble of setting up a second cyno chain.

So, to be a useful mobility advantage, it has to be significant. Unpack the oxidized duct tape and strap on some Thukker modified plasma coils! Let's jump from Period Basis to Branch! Or not, but you get the idea. 25-30ly range would however open up nice options for the capital equivalent of Matari hit and run tactics, well hidden backup support from deep within friendly territory etc.

PS: Repping bonus helps only in triage situations or where you have multiple of a single type. 1-2 Hel on the field - as opposed to 3-4 of any other race, doesn't mean **** when they have 1-2 Capital RR with 5% bonus to repp on each ...

Make it so the titan Bonus only works on grid, :) then they have to be on the field. A HP tanked titan is not going to be primery any way as you just triage carriers on it which means its only in danger if your looseing the fight. In which case your bonus is not going to help at that point so you GTFO.

Love the Mothership changes even tho i have not been a *** and have been useing it in fleets hopeing to be hotdroped by titans so we can kill them i am loving the HP changes and the fighter bomber changes. Now i just need to spend 56days on Fighter bombers L5 and all will be well. But as people have said (BA) maybe give the fighter bomber skill two roles:
1: XX% fighter bomber damage per level??? (What ever its going to be)
2: 5-10% Fighter bomber HP per level????????? or 5-10%??? Fighter bomber speed per level???

Still killable by smartbombs if you leave them on a target, still popable by other drones and guns in an ok ish time but gives you a bit more time if you are recalling them before thay die


Ecm burst mod might need looking at in the nest year or so :)
And tbo CCP can call them what ever thay like, We the players will still call them motherships till the end of time :)

PS a small targetable DD that fits on moms and can insta pop hics would be nice with a 60sec ROF @ L5 :)

The only issue now that I see is that fighter bombers are a little bit weak against bombs and slow to recall, so no matter what if you have them out a couple of bombers will drop em, but I can live with that.

As far as the Hel goes: 5% increase in target painter effectiveness per level.

Abathur I love you... It's great news to see those changes come back and bring the much needed life to eve capital and super-cap warfare. Pity it took so much fighting and forum-rage, but at least the changes are back. I am still concerned as we can literally see them gone like 5min before the 1.1 goes live on TQ with no warning, but I am really ghoping some ppl in your office learned their lesson.

might soudn funny.. but what abouta 50% TP bonus per level? :P THAT would make a hell of an effect.

for the love of god make the naglfar with 3 guns 1 siege insteed of 2 crap torp launchers on it ...it is really **** ..either way u look at it and boosts moros drone dmg is like a dominix with sentry drone upgrades when it comes to drones :(

ccp already said they wil nto give it 3 turrets because of their production pipeline beign bottlenecked at art department.

I can understand why you removed them to stop motherships being one-shotted but once the mothership hitpoint boost is back in can we have doomsdays re-enabled for lowsec. It was quite excellent to have an answer for station dock-gaming carriers.

YAY CCP Abathur was FREED!

- ON the Hel bonuses, the 5% per level remote rep amount isnt used particually much on a Mothership. The Nid especially with being able to traige can make use of all the benefits of 25% more rep, and with fitting many reppers. The Hel cannot Triage and if it has any fitted, will be fitting a minimum of Remote reps in highs really making this an irrelevent bonus.

Something more relevent please. A resistance bonus would be nice but unlikely i suppose. Also dont forget with the HP boost- to swap the current TQ armor and shield amounts when they get bonuses (more armor on TQ than shields atm).

RR Hel bonus is somewhat lacking imho. But most of the bonuses that are suitable for Capitals are already taken. What about jump-range bonus? So at lvl 5 it will have same range as carrier. This bonus is not always usable but at least it is unique and have some situations where it will be handy.

Any chance we can see a slightly greater increase in the range of short range XL guns? Its still quite obvious that when long range guns using short range ammo can do more damage at a greater range than short range guns with long range ammo you wont be seeing the short range capital weapons being used in fleet engagements.

No one will be remote repping in a supercarrier, the bonus to res of the fighter bombers you had before was nice.
