Systems Auner controlled by Amarr and Brinn controlled by Minmatar went vulnerable this morning leaving a good chance for a fight. Minmatar recaptured Auner with out a fight, despite Amarr having a BS heavy gang nearby. Amarr's gang instead decided it was more fun to by pass our gang and shoot the bunker in Brinn.

Once Auner had been recaptured, Minmatar's fleet headed full speed toward Brinn to go get a fight. Sadly yet again Amarr decided it was more fun to run away, with tails tucked, rather than fight Minmatar Militia. Minmatar's gang managed to catch a few stragglers before Amarr ran off to Caldri space.

There is no doubt Amarr will sneak back in like dogs, while no one is looking to capture Brinn sometime later today. They obviously would rather shoot at a defenseless bunker than shoot at other space ships that actually shoot back.

I guess this is what happens when Amarr Militia is based in a mining outpost located in high sec. The cearbear instincts take over it appears.

Rolling Eyes If only we could bottle the river of minmatar tears that pour onto the IGS. You have a tiny victory here, accept it and leave it at that. Adding your silly tearful whine because you didnt get a fight just makes you look pathetic. I wasnt there, im still planet side, but I wager the Amarrian fleet was outnumbered and not suited to engage your fleet, so instead of just dying senselessly they opted the high road, accepted this small defeat and left.

Well, the basic facts are there in the initial post. In the midst of operations, Auner went to vulnerable status; we contacted various known friendly militia members for support and got it. I have to apologize here for not having an accurate count of corporations or pilots involved, but suffice to say it was enough, as at 15:24 the bunker fell.

At about the same time, notice that Brin had gone vulnerable had come through; we chose to exploit the weakness we'd made, figuring that Brin's distance from the front lines would make it easier to resecure. The hostile militia fleet passed us by without notice and then, after Auner was resecured, much of the forces we had assembled went in pursuit. I'm not cognizant of the exact details there, aside from that the outcome had Brin still in Minmatar hands as of the time of this writing.

I would like to thank all of the Minmatar militia members who came to assist, both in Auner and in Brin; as previously mentioned I won't pretend I have an accurate tally, but you all know who you are. I'm not going to herald this as a grand turning point, a stupendous crushing triumph, or any of the rest. It was, however, a victory, and I'm sure that we will continue to do what we can to ensure that it is the first of many.

Congratulations to our Matari allies! The bond our two countries, while strained recently, must remain strong in these dark times. Onwards, show those slavers what happens when you mess with freedom!

Your leader attempts a dictatorial takeover of private companies within your borders! Oh, my mistake, that was your nation.

Your leader tortures and abuses your own citizenry! Oh, once again I beg forgiveness, that's you.

Your government is taken over by a military-industrial complex during a rigged election! Oh no, pardon me, that was you.

Considering recent events in the Federation, one would think their attentions would be focused inwards, perhaps towards restoring the lauded "democratic process" which, by hook or by crook, they have been determined to foist on the rest of New Eden since their discovery that they were not, in fact, the sole culture in the universe.

But then expecting a Gallente to refuse an opportunity to look down on other nations is probably naieve.

Dear sir, perhaps it is, yes. Then again your own empire is known for its benevolent views on others practises and lifestyles? Frankly, clean up your own house before besmirking others.

But oh, i forgot...its the word of god that forces you to enslave and "enlighten" others, not worldly politics.

There is nothing to clean but the worlds that have yet to be reclaimed. The difference between us is that we make no secret of that. That's why it is so entertaining to us when you try to pretty up your own intentions so vigorously.

yeah, you fail here badly. You see there are no amarr tears or us complaining in those threads, we took a system, it was acknowledged, and that was it. Only tears there came from our enemies.

In this instance you took a system and drove our fleet off. Then complained about it. Again, pathetic.

You win some, and you lose some. That the carnage is now primarily over Shakorite planets is reward enough for me at this stage of the conflict.

I should point out that in chess one might sacrifice a lesser piece to keep or capture a greater one.

I should also point out that unlike many of you, the Amarr don't usually go around blathering publicly about every little stratagem or victory we gain.

But do as you like will will not gag you...here...

Mr. Ralnik,

I am to believe that everyone who does not fight the enemy regardless of the odds or the situation is a coward? Are you going to call TLF fighters that don't engage in combat cowards from now on?

You are falling into the hypocrisy trap so often used by The Star Fraction. You are free to call us cowards of course. But if you connect that definition to a specific action, you must be prepared to apply it to your own in similar circumstances.

As for your belief that storing ships in a mining outpost somehow diminishes one's courage, well, I guess I'll just have to attribute that to popular Matari superstitions in order to not consider you intellectually challenged.

Well sir, perhaps you should have worked harder on that "greater one" because in the last 24hrs Minmatar have re-secured 3 systems that had been captured by our dishonorable foes using their Caldari pets.

The systems Auner, Klogori and Resbroko have been recaptured by Minmatar forces and all slavers have been driven out like the dogs they are. Perhaps you should start setting up your stronghold around Kamela because what you have started might not end well for your Empire.

OOC..

TBH, the only reason I made this post and made it the way I did, was because of the constant chest thumbing done by Amarr over every system capture. In the past I could understand it as taking a system tended to require a long drawn out fight.

Lately with the abuse of the standings exploits, your little victory's were not earned or deserved, making any chest beating around them a bit silly IMO. Hence the reason I made this post how I made it. It was a good opportunity to toss a little dirt in the faces of my foes whom feel the need to use less than honorable tactics.

less than honorable tactics ???

listen up sonny this is war in a war you dont fight fair you fight to win the objective is to kill as many of the enemy as possible you sneak up on your enemy and bash his head in with a ROCK if you have to but to fight fair and honorably you must be drinking the water in your own pod again

fair fight indeed thats where Im alive and your in a cloning vat

and as for the Caldari being "pets" of the Amarr you might want to re-think that statement I'm NO ONES pet

You are neglecting to mention that the "mining outpost" in question is in High Security space. And the reason the 24th Crusade needs to muster there is that their various enemies have made it impossible for them to muster in their traditional low-sec stronghold of Kamela.
