Well im in a rut.... atm i only hold about 74 mill with no means of getting isk besides high sec mining with my alt so i have a question.

Any tips/suggestions on making ISK?

Im really interested in wormholes but with 74mill and only skills in mimi BC i don't know if i'd be the best at doing them, i'd do level 4 but no cash to buy a battleship, and takes bloody forever to start from level 1-4's lol

Any Tips/suggestions? If i did do wormholes any mimi BC tips? And tips on making money in wormholes?(no pos)

Please thanks :D

The money you can make solo in a WH with a BC is much less than running missions in terms of isk/hr usually.

You'll be limited to C1/C2 WHs solo with your BC. ie: Sleeper frigates and Cruisers ... and an occasional BS worth a couple million in salvage if you have a salvager.

If you have 74M, then buy a Domi and some drones (~55M can get you a fully fitted Domi with drones) and go do level 4s as you suggest.

If you don't have the skills to fly a Domi, then you're stuck mining until you get better skills or learn to use the market to buy stuff low in certain regions, and bring them to other regions and sell them for more.

Still, market warfare aside, nothing will beat level 4s in terms of isk/h (safely that is).

There is no quick fix to making lots of ISK except random bouts of incredible luck, like someone sending isk to the wrong account or being next to a faction fit ship when it pops.

You need to start from somewhere and work your way up in anything I could suggest.

Even if you're macro spamming scams in Jita you're going to have to wait for someone to bite.

Uh, no. It's not quite that easy.

Do the L1-3 missions while you're training up to use T2 heavy drones, and also so you can armor tank properly. Going into a L4 without either of those will just have you losing your Domi.

Well, Keep working your way through the missions, and pick up salvaging if you haven't already.

Keep a Thrasher fitted just for salvaging in the system you run missions in and switch to that for clean up after everything is dead. By the time you start doing L4's salvaging them will make you oodles of isk.

Don't go rushing into L4's, though. Stay at L3 until you've got as good a Mael setup as possible. There's all kinds of warp scrambling going on in L4s, and nothing will crush your spirit more than losing your first expensive ship so quickly.

If you apply on the forums to join a good corp, people will generally lend you the money to buy a battleship.

I personally spent 3-4 days running missions to earn level 4 missions, but you can just ask someone if you can team with them in level 4s, which will raise your standings Extremely fast to do level 4 missions yourself.

I made 40mil after salvaging in my last mission. Solo in a dominix i only have 3 mil SP.

I'd look into joining a corp actually. One that runs WHs, runs missions, even mines in a gang. That gives you access to WHs and mission easier, and you can have someone to chat with as well.

And if you are a bit on the evil side you can rob them blind and make billions.

A well fitted BC with a cloak and a noob alt scout, go to a quiet part of 0.0 and ninja rat.

you do know that there are skills that raise your standings, right?

just asking cause i think it takes 2 days tops with a couple of hours played while training in order to get to an L4.

could also invest the 70m in ruptures and try to live of pvp loot.

I would reccomend against this unless you know exactly what you are doing PvP wise, wouldn't take long to lose 70m in cruisers and fittings if you are doing it wrong. I am in a similar situation as the OP with little isk and I have no assets (just came back to eve and all my stuff was on another account, then fell asleep earlier which resulted in me losing my mission ship). Doing some ratting in 0.0 should get you some good isk aslong as you watch local channel and use common sense, if you are not KOS to the locals then providence maybe a place to start, or go ninja ratting somewhere.

You made an alt to high sec mine.
You pay for it.
Use it.

It's boring? So are most of the things that become ISK farms after you do them for 3 hrs a day, every day for a month.

I was doing level 4s about 3 weeks after this toon was born. In a Domi, with tech 1 drones (I still only have tech 1 gardes and ogres today!).

2 reppers, cap chargers in mids, cap rigs and drone specific hardeners. That's all you need if you're smart about it.

Do Serpentis Extravaganza 2-3 times and salvage...boom you've just paid off you Domi. You can do this in an evening even with crappy skills.

You just need to read the missions on the net before you do them and use proper strategy. This is not 'skills' based as much as it is 'I'm not a complete moron" based.

If you're losing ships in K-space missions, there's something wrong up there.

500dps rat specific tank and ~350dps will finish off any level 4 provided you do it properly and watch aggro. May take a bit longer, but even at 350dps, you're still making WAY more isk than doing level 3s.

Highlighted the solution to your problems. All you need to do now is to convince people that keeping their ridiculously expensive ships stored in the corp hangar is a great idea...

Mision, mission, and mission. Don't forget to run missions too. I solo 3's all day. I make about 10 million in 8-9 hours.

If by proper strategy you mean warping away many times because you lack any decent tanking, and letting your weak drones slowly chip away at small groups for hours, you're better off destroying and salvaging rooms full of L3 ships in a fraction of the time when it comes to isk per hour.

L4's only become really good money makers when you're flying the kind of ships that can tank entire rooms, and make short work of other Battleships.

I'd suggest training up your social skills to lvl4 and shield/missile skills that let you fly a drake - raven.

Grinding up to lvl4 missions takes no time at all if you forego salvage and once you're in a drake/raven you can 50-100mil an evening + loyalty points quite easily (do intel missions and get the skills called "high tech connections" and "military connections" because they significantly up your loyalty point gain.

Lame I know but those two ships are superb for missions.

Learn to salvage, join a corp, offer to salvage missions for the mission runners for a share in the standings and profits. You could make several hundred million in a week if you dedicate sometime to it rather than waiting for handouts.
( You should earn standing enough to run your own level 4's in a BS that you have actually earned) Shocked

Best way to get some fast iskies is to wander over to the character forum and put yourself on the auction block. Being that I have no idea what your SP is I can't tell you what you are worth but you should be able to get a couple of billion with even a low SP char.

Then you get to start a brand new character with billions in the wallet.

Of course, the down side is you have to start a brand new character.

But, whatever...

Do not worry, the isk will come in time. One of the best things is to look at the local markets and do as the above poster said. Find something that looks good. By low, sometimes move the stuff, and sell high.

Good advice here.

I decided to look into trade a couple of weeks ago. I put two mil into a separate corp wallet and started buying modules from quick sell mission runners. What I buy for 500isk sells for 10,000isk in a market hub like rens. I spend an hour or two a week moving the stuff to market.

So far I've managed to pull in 20 mil and the profit is accelerating as my wallet fattens. Considering it's nothing like my full time isk generator and I don't have good skills, it seems like a pretty good way to make some coin.

Whats Wrong With This

If you can make out a permitanked Domi and train up to use T2 heavy drones you'll save a ton of money over time because you won't have to pay for things like ammo.

One trick to make money is do market research and buy stuff at it's lowest price in one system and find out where it's being sold at a higher price and sell it in that system. Mainly in mission systems like Motsu Caldari ships go for higher than average prices. It works great if you do that trick with ammo.
