Try this: http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp?s=&system=win&edition=&n=117806
It's probably the auto updater, but once it's down, just go to the temp folder where the loader saved it to and port it to your others pc's..

Is the full patch available for download, not just the installer ?

I really dont want to have to download this for each of the 3 PC's ....

http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/evepremiumpatch101786-117956_m.exe

Thanks, but is there a link on the eveonline site, downloading exe's from external sites is a little dangerous these days :)

The reason why patching takes so long.

First hour: actual deployment of the patch.
Second hour: All PCs in CCP HQ need to be fix'd because the new patch deleted their boot.ini files.
Hours 3-19: CCP employees attempt to catch all the hamsters that fled during the patching.

I, like an idiot, downloaded Build 101786 to 117738 and installed. Its just coming up imcompatible protocal no auto patch, downloaded this, http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp?s=&system=win&edition=&n=117806, but it wont install in my eve folder because it was expecting a different client version so i assume i download the 117806file that isnt the latest one?

I'm auto patching 101786 -> 117956

My client version is 117738.

"There is a new build available. An incremental update for your current build could not be found. Would you like to download a full installer now? The build is 2438.5 MB in size." just got that messaage when i try to log in

I was wondering this. CCP did several "behind the scenes" videos to do with Apocrypha and it's deployment. I actually enjoyed watching them and hope they've done/they'll do the same for Dominion. Very Happy

Zero issues running EVE w/sound on both Windows Vista and Windows 7. For those Windows XP die hards out there, I hear ya but the argument about Vista/7 using more resources, while true, isn't really that valid with the price of RAM these days. Windows 7 is really impressive and full of usability features way above and beyond what Windows XP offers that makes my day-to-day user experience significantly better. Sure, many people don't need or won't use some features but I think a lot of the resilience about using something new is just because people tend to like what they are used to just or don't like change. Vista got a bad rap from the get go (and deserved it) but it was fine after SP1. Plus, with 64-bit, it means I get to use all 4GB of RAM. I never did bother with XP 64-bit because driver support was never there. I'm still using Windows XP at work and there are countless things I miss during the day that Windows 7 offers.

Anyways, no, I don't work for Microsoft. I just thought I would plug/defend Windows 7 a bit. For those XP die hards, you might be pleasantly surprised with Windows 7 if you gave it a good shake. Wink

Keep up the great work CCP! Can't wait to play EVE tonight.

downloading 497 MB (offical patch from eve client)
@ 421KB/Sec (best speed i get)
ETA = 18mins

So then my EVE client will be patched but we still got to wait for CCP to test and flip the switch so to speak then its bottleneck time trying to log on :P

Before bottleneck gonna reboot PC make sure my Boot.ini file aint gone lol, oh the good old days of panicing your computer was f**ked cos of a game :P

When archeologists dig up this thread it is going straight into the museum of fail based on the GMT definitions alone! Laughing

Gravel Marmalade Time?
Giant Moose Time?
Gravy Mallet Time?
Geriatric Marmot Time?
Generic Mackerel Time?

I talked to my buddy's friend's hamster and she told me that it actually stands for Group ************ Time. When in Rome...

What they stated is that it went to 0.01 from 0.05. So FROM 0.05 TO 0.01. That is a reduction. ;)
