I'd just like to share something what a certain type of person in EVE suffers from. I have dubbed this stereotype the "Calvertite" or one suffering from Joshua Syndrome.

No, i'm not addicted to safespots or a raving metrosexual..

My pain is that I joined 13 corps in less than 5 months, and have yet to find one where I really feel at home. Some corps had their CEO quit and lost all sense of direction, some disbanded weeks after me joining, others changed from Piracy to Empire Mercs, some claimed to be PvP'ers yet did nothing but mine, and most of them had too much deadweight. (alts etc.)

All the while my Employment History continues to grow and with every corp I join I feel like leaving after a week already.

Does this sound familiar to anyone else? ugh

Joshua Syndrome is otherwise known as boredom, I'm afraid. The only cure is hope that Shiva will be more fun.

What is the condition called where people are too scared to post with their mains? Is there a cure?

Also off-topic -- my guess is that they promised Shiva would be out on the 3rd. It's not going to be, so instead of Shiva being late they renamed it to something else with its own deadline and thus NOT late. Very Happy

Not true I'm afraid Razz

Anyway, being a ceo of a busy or large corp can be a daunting task. Getting your corp to be succesfull requires much of the same qualities a succesfull manager would require in real life.

That said, having one ceo that does call the shots has its merits over a system using multiple people to make decisions.

Sharing the workload can help a ceo keep the responsibility and handle it well.

Perhaps someone should take five minutes to rename the 'Shiva Test Center' then Idea Or does Shiva only become Exodus once it hits Tranquility Question
