You are basically whining about the fact that MMOs cant survive without carebears, which you also hate.
Tough ****. This is how the world works. When chaos rules, when there is nothing but war, nothing good happens.
War is fun (if it weren't for people actually dying and being in pain war would be fun irl too). We get it. Sometimes even carebears like to shoot people in the face. But this is a sandbox. It doesn't cater exclusively to PVP, it can't.
Fact is if everyone PVP'd all the time and didn't carebear for at least a little while there would be no minerals and products, thus there wouldn't be enough economy to support all the PVP. There are extremes where some people PVP all the time 100% of the time, and there are people who carebear mine/mission 100% of the time. Most are in between. It's the only way EVE can work. |

Screw PvP.
It's about time I got to play EvP- Enemy/Environment versus Player. Yeah, I want to control CONCORD and every rat ship out there. Same goes for Recon 3/3 toxic dump- I want to move that onto every last stargate in this game. You want blobbing? You want to make sure you sell every last ship you can make? Give me EvP- so I can smash every ship that undocks, and destroy the stations you hide in. |

I'm not really going to argue one way or another on this, but this has reminded me of a question I've had for a loooong time.... Whats the point of PvE in an MMO? An online game, by its very definition, is about player interaction... There isn't much player interaction in PvE... I mean, sure you can fleet up to run a plex... but to what end? Plexes dont change, there are only so many missions in game... no real story... isn't PvP sort of an "endgame" content? PvE for the sake of PvE is really just a waste of your time and money.

Empire carebears need to lose stuff so they don't suffer from boredom. So suicide ganking, can stealing, ninja salvaging etc. is the best what EvE has to offer in Empire.
