Edited by: JordanParey on 16/10/2009 02:26:55Hi. I've posted a ton of music threads, here's another: When I feel like crap, I listen to music that makes me feel worse (because the night is darkest before dawn) so that way I can listen to something perky or w/e after four hours and feel better. Stuff like this: Think Twiceor something like that. No death metal or anything this time, lol. Alternative rock, punk, screamo are good. The themes are romance and angst. Any recommendations? |

I'm currently listening to a used LostProphets CD I found in a store. I put it in the CD player in my car, and was liking it, until I heard a song I remember from a few years ago: " Last Train Home" This was such a good song when it came out a few years ago..I remember listening to this song on the radio when my friends and I rode our skateboards all over the neighborhood. Any other suggestions? |

I hate to sound like a jerk, but a lot of the songs posted kinda missed the point of the OP That said, I gave most of these a listen and found a couple good bands, and new songs from bands I already knew (Sick Puppies, and now I listen to Lostprophets) which, in the end, resulted in my discovery of a song that was from my happier days (Last Train Home by Lostprophets came out when I was having the time of my life in high school, never knew the name of the song till a few days ago) |

I think that guy played EVE or one of his friends did. It was a thread here I believe, but my EVE search Fu is lacking. Slade |

You Know My Name: Chris Cornell. (Bond theme but utter badass all the way through.)
The Prague Philharmonic's version of several major themes three in my current MP3 pick me up folder are Jurassic Park Phantom Menace and St. Petersburg.
Now you're probably wondering why i recommend movie soundtracks. The fact is these songs invoke memories good ones. Bond in St. Petersburg is one of my all time favorite moments. (That tank through the wall was utterly epic) |
