"What's needed *NOW* is to start gathering data. You know the API will eat your logs and thus programs like EMMA / others could be used to save the story as it happens and "forever"."

Could someone explain this?

Well, after a certain period of time, the log muncher comes and eats records, and excretes record-goo, rendering the logs unreadable.

And by that I mean if you want a "full" audit, you need the market logs going back to when the last audit stopped. Since market logs eventually get deleted after a certain period of time, he meant start compiling records of what the API currently pulls, since it might not still be there by the time an auditor comes along.

I am sorry to announce that because of recent events. That being TMPI losing over 35B ISK last month, directly or indirectly because of default/fraud on investments in the secondary market! There will be a delay in dividend payments.
As it stands now, TMPI NAV is down to around 70B that means that we effectively lost 30% +/- of our NAV.

Now because of the "secondary Investment Clause" that was made before the launch of TMPI, this will not effect buyback price, investors are protected from this hit.
I have however decided that it is in the best interest of TMPI to delay dividend payments for 1 month!

This means that there will be no TMPI Dividend Payment this month. However in 20 days time, there will be a double payment, plus a minor compensation. (I estimate around 125K per share)

I hope I have my investors understanding and support in this troubled time.
If any investor feel that this is to much for them, I offer them an immidiate buyback of 105% ie. 1.050.000,00 ISK p/u. as compensation for this.

Fly safe capsuleers.

Just a fast update, as I really do not have time at the moment.

I am closing down TMPI, all assets will be liquidated, current NAV rests at 60B+.

Forced buyback will start monday next week!
Any investor with less than 1000 shares should arrange a meeting with me, so we can arrange a share for isk transaction.
When the smaller share holders have been bought out, I will buyout the larger ones, in turn, starting with the smallest investor and proceeding to the largest.

The reason behind this is simple burnout, caused by what I considered friends!
It is no secret that 2 persons scammed/defaulted TMPI not so long ago which directly and indirectly caused TMPI to lose over 35B worth of ISK.

Important information:

TMPI CLOSED
Share buyback initiated (investors with less than 1000 shares should contact me asap, and arrange for a transaction)
Current buyback value set to 1.25M per share.

Fly safe :)

EDIT: At the same time, I declare anything owed to TMPI null and void!

I am sorry to see you burned out. When I noticed you really got hit by that scam and did not reply to my Sept 11 mail, I understood you'd go "under" so I posted that scammers DO impact negatively on people even beyond the mere game. Crying or Very sad

Once again it's the good guys that go.

Just a thought, you could liquidate and then pay the balance of the corp wallet out as a final dividend - then you don't have to buy back thousands of shares by hand.

That was actually a very good idea, my mind haven't really updated yet, so I am still capped on dividend payments :p Anyways buyback has started so I will just do it the old fashioned way :)

@rouge
as stated your shares are worth 1.25M each. contact me for a buyback

I was wondering as part of your NAV calculation in regards to the POS valuation, does it take into account for the crash of POS tower and modules value since PI was introduced?

It does, you are looking at an outdated NAV report. TMPI have almost no POS parts, all modules that wasnt online was sold a long time ago!

When you're done with the buyback, could I get a share of TMPI? For the memories, and all the thrust we put in you as your loyal alt army.

What a pity - the rippling effects of the actions of a couple of trashbags continue.

For those who will post the usual rubbish about 'tears', bear in mind it's not the ISK loss that hurts - it's the knife in the back from someone you considered a friend that hurts.

Not that it won't happen again, c'est la vie

Really sorry to hear this but I can fully understand how a few blows like that could suck all the fun out of a game.

Are you just closing down TMPI or taking a break from / leaving eve as well? I very much hope only the former. As a loyal alt, I'm not sure what I will do if I get hived off from the central brain and have to live independently Sad.

Btw - we all know that Bobby was one of the two scams. Was the other C****? I remember you mentioning some problems but I assumed they had got sorted out. If not, then please name and shame (or did I just miss the thread where this was done already?).

Edit - Bloody forums! RAW's alt here (so a Ji alt of the second degree).

As funny as it may sound, I wont be quitting eve, I am just closing down TMPI, and getting out of the secondary market.

T4U was the fraud/scam, another 7B+ was lost to a default, since it is 2 different things in my book, you wont see me name and shame on the forums, I consider friendship to be worth more than that. I also lost around 5B to various investors I had recomended T4U to, when I compensated them after the T4U scam. And I don't really care about the ISK, hence I am declaring anything owed to TMPI null/void

Very sorry to see it go. Ji when you're done with buyback I'd love a share of TMPI just for the memories.

Wherever you go in EVE know you have at least 1 friend who won't backstab ya flying around in a recon or dictor somewhere in the vastness of 0.0.

Fly safe my friend.

I never invested on this and I was very critical because it was highly irrational and feared something fishy behind, not understanding the reasons. I'm glad it was irrational just for the sake of it and no second intentions were behind it, but I can see the same emotional drive that drove it is the one that have ultimately put an end to it. Anyway good luck and kudos for a clean closure.

*golfclap*

I am the kind of person, that if I cannot invest myself 100% into what I do, I don't do.

When TMPI is closed we will have paid almost 40B back in dividends, and a little over 60B back on the initial investment, giving our investors a roi that is larger than 400%

This is not counting the donations etc. we have made to the community or good causes like "plex for haiti" or counting the amount people have managed to scam out of us.

I know why you where critical, irrationality was the lesser one of the causes imo :)

It's a shame a well respected and long standing investment opportunity like this is shutting its doors. Even more so after seeing how graciously you handled the various storms throughout its existence that would have caused many to concede much earlier.

Not yet it would seem.

At least, accfording to eve mail I was the "first in" of the small investors, but since the initial eve mail exchange, Ji has not responded to my eve mails for 12 days..

:(

So IF the buyback has been happening, I am not a part of it for some reason. :)

Interesting question. It's been 3 weeks sine the last update - and no investor has reported a buyback on the thread.

The original investor list contains names like Jadun, Caleb Ayrania, Mikael Genexi, Taram Caldar, Gabriel Virtus and Varo Jan. Hopefully some of them are active and can update the public if they have heard from Ji Sama.
