...who accurately and concisely summarises all the key points (on both sides) of the frighteningly large "Pointless ganking has to stop" thread.

Since, like my huge pendulous todger, it is too large and ungainly to handle.

I think it can be summarised thusly:

Humungous Joshua Calvert-esque whine from the good old days when he was a n00b carebear vs Larry Flint.

None of Lifewire's arguments make sense from any perspective except his own Neutral

Arguments basically come down to those who think it might be a good idea to have sec rating affects in 0.0, reasons vary, but some include:

- distinguish pirates from alliances
- reduce ganking and encourage alliances to embrace the Shiva alliance system and wars
- encourage a distinction between an alliance defending it's borders or simply being 0.0 free for all, possibly with interaction with how alliances claim space
- to balance the sec gains and bounties given for npc hunting in supposedly lawless space

And those who don't, who's views include:

- 0.0 is lawless and should remain that way, where alliances and player reputation mean more than concord status
- 0.0 is tough, live with it

There have also been various discussions over ganking and the purpose of low sec (0.4-0.1) space. Also the potential impact of Shiva and concerns that the few existing entrances to 0.0 act as chokepoints and restrict players from getting into the 0.0/alliance game - either good or bad depending on your views on alliances, how many there should be and what they should do.

I suggest a 'Pointless ganking has to begin!' thread,
in which, we shall discuss on how to effectively
mass-pod half eve's population without going broke
by dying to concord.

There is no need to lock the thread, there isn't any flaming going on and people are still debating.

well then perhaps we could ceate a new alliance in exodus which all corps could freely join. once we were all in the same alliance we could freely gank each other to our hearts content without the interference of those pesky police ;P
