One year ago today Jamyl Sarum was crowned Empress. As a sign of respect and now acceptance CVA took a fleet to Amarr to meet with other loyalists such as PIE and 1PG.

After dealing with a few terrorist war targets I delivered a speech to the local citizens which can be found on our public portal here:

My words there are all that need to be said, that and Long live Empress Jamyl!

She must be a dynamic leader to instill such loyalty among capsuleers who can choose whether to support her or oppose her with no real negative effect either way...being above the system that is the Empire as we pod pilots are.

that and of course success (such as obliterating an Elder fleet) breeds followers.

Interesting speeches from Grr and Rodj but not all together surprising.

I look forward to seeing what develops from this Empress and (more importantly) from the capsuleers who choose to currently support her regime. Quite a change from the days of years past when only the Aegis Militia supported House Sarum among the Amarr loyalists. It reminds us all of how mercurial support can be.

Your allegiances are to the wrong person, slavers. No true God, or leader of man, would condone the torturing and enslavement of an entire race. Worship while you still can.

Tomahawk you are wrong.

Sure you are right in saying that most of the Amarrian Loaylist had or still have their problems with her, taking the throne. The ways she got there were unorthodox, to say the least. And as you remember there were some Corps loyal to the Throne and the Empire that didnīt celebrate her enthronement because of that.

But we are Amarrians afterall, we acknowledge that we were wrong with all our suspicions, we acknowledge that we misunderstood the signs, we were wrong assuming only personal interests in taking the throne. We all learn from mistakes. That is what we have done, and will be doing as long as we live and believe.

Our Empress is the holy example for every lost soul out there in the depths of space. She shows that even death isnīt changing the purpose of someones life. In fact she is the example of immortality.

It might be hard to understand for someone so occupied with earthly issues as you might be, but we will follow our Empress whereever she might lead us. Be it in Life or Death.

Itīs our Birthright and our Duty to serve the only one true God and his delegate in person, Empress Jamyl.

The only thing left to say is: Long live Empress Jamyl!

You didn't really argue against my point. all I said was that she was dynamic, that Pod Pilots are Mercurial and implied her success was a notable reason for her status.

further i noted that We, pod pilots, can choose to be above the squabbles of the planet bound.

none of this is "wrong"

also I don't have a problem with how she got to the throne, success is success after all. I don't see any of the Amarr standing up and saying "but that isn't how its done!?"

you see innovation and evolution happen even in the most regressive quarters. Revolution is everywhere.

Edit: but your sentiment was notable and well made. I applaud your fervor and applaud that you have made choices as a transhuman. I may not agree with them, but there you go.

Yes, hail to our Empress, the one that disregards all tradition and rules of succession by having herself either cloned or just refusing to go through with the ritual suicide demanded of the Succession trials. Yes, she defeated a Minmatar fleet, but that does not excuse her for her blasphemy against God. And the lot of you capsuleers that blindly ignore the obivous betrayal of all that once was good in Amarr is pitiable. May your blood dry and rot.

She may have gone about it in an unorthodox way, but she is most certainly the "leader" of the empire at this time.

though I imagine you'd still like to see her dead, no?
