I open shiva and aometimes I see the agreement, sometimes lots of grey textured lines. I scroll to the bottom and one, unmarked button appears. to the left of that, wehre accept should be I can click and the agreement (lack of) vanishes and I am left with just the spinning EVE graphic and nothing else (EVE graphic runs well now at 210fps). Cannot actually log into shiva. Have tried updating all drivers, rolling them back and making a completely fresh install of windows/drivers etc on a seperate partition and a freshly installed and patched version of EVE with the same result. Anyone know how to fix this?

I get this exact same problem, I have tried to "feel around" the areas of the menu to enter my information, but I have never been able to login for the test server, and I have made several copies of my EVE folder and cleaned out my test server folder cache with no change.

If you are using Windows XP as operating system, try running teh shiva cleint in Windows98 compatibility mode. This solved a similar problem for me. (Not that i like it, but it's a work-around for now)

Right click your shiva shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Mark "Run this program in Compatibility mode for:" -> select Windows 98/Windows ME.

I had this problem as well. The solution that worked for me was to get new beta video drivers from Guru3d.com.

It's a video driver issue.

I got the same thing on my laptop after doing a format reload last night. Once I updated the video drivers the problem went away. If you have "current" drivers for you video then you might consider rolling them back to previous version.

Tried the rolling back of the video drivers and applying the newist drivers for my Geforce 6800 GT. Am not experancing any issues with tranquility.

Going to try using the win 98 compatablity to see if that works.
