None of my business I know... But if any one is willing to disclose their information could you answer a couple of questions for me please?

1 - You main occupation in Eve?

2 - How much on average over a 5 hour playing time do you make in ISK?

3 - Solo or group based?

4 - Did it require an investment in a large amount of money to achive your now regular income?

Only reason I ask this is because recently with a bit of an investment in certain area's of my Eve character I have been making suprisingly a larger amount of Isk.

I just wanted to see if it was the fact that I invested in certain things thats caused me to start making good money?

Thanks

i'd say mostly solo, but then again you never know how many are silently spinning together with you in the given station.

On my main:

1 - Running and salvaging L4 combat missions

2 - Depends on the missions i get, but i've got it down to a science at this point and can make about 100 mil a day if i go hard at it.

3 - Solo

4 - Battleships and their best fittings aren't cheap, and there's also a large amount of SP needed to fly them right.

Some how, considering the corp you are in, I dout you make a pittance.
You may even class a pittance as the same ammount of money that I make now.

I used to make on average 20mill a night, I now make double if not tripple that in the same time peirod.

Anyway, my scheme involves taking advantage of every opertunity to earn a little more. Also take more time in my selective process. Make sure when selling or refining items you try and sell them first. If the item sells for more than 100K sell it as you wont get no where near that much from a refine of it.

1. PVP, supplemented by ratting in -1.00 true sec systems. And the occasional ransom/illegal activity.

2. If I ratted for 5 hours I could make 100,000,000 ISK. I would also bisect myself with a sword afterwards.

3. Mostly solo.

4. You need at least a BC, though a HAC, HIC, DPS RECON, or BS preform much better.

I'll put it this way; ratting outside of NPC space is NOT WORTH IT. You might as well run missions and make similar money in the safety of empire. Plexing is worth it if you look long and hard, but TBH, they can make you a lot of money, or you could get shafted, it just depends.

5 hours? After the PvP bug infected me that is a long time to spend making iskies, so expenses are paid for by loot mostly.

Focused lowsec running, 5 hrs will yield 150k+ LP and a smattering of ISK/Loot/Salvage. Done solo.

Manufacturing on the side from owned/researched BPOs and mission ship itself are only assets/investments. Profits from industry make up half of current income.

If you are willing to put ships on the line, using lowsec (the lower the better) can increase income by an insane amount.

Ok this helps a bit. At least I know where I could make more if I wanted to.

I really should get something going on the side with production. So far that's the only area of Eve that I have never got into.

Traded for 1 year, made 4 bn.

Lost it all to DBank.

Traded again, made 2 bn (3 to 4 months).

Found a new profession, making 800 mill isk per day average (over 13 days).

Not trading anymore.

*Trading days take about 20 minutes per day.

EOH Banker

2 - How much on average over a 5 hour playing time do you make in ISK?

Depends on how busy it is, at least 100M/Hour and as much as 400M/hour

3 - Solo or group based?

Well, I bank by myself, but the whole shindig is a group effort.

4 - Did it require an investment in a large amount of money to achive your now regular income?

Several billion in collateral to secure against running off with the multiple billions I might hold onto at any given time.

If only I actually worked for 5 whole hours in a row, I'd be rich!

1. Atm, crying bitter salty tears.

2. On average, I lose isk the moment I log in, and it gets progressively worse from there.

3. Solo, though if there are people around, then they laugh, I cry, so I guess thats group based.

4. Yes, a invested everything I had , and all I got was this Reaper.

1 - You main occupation in Eve?
A - Several actually. Scanning/probing sites and mining in WH space would I guess be the top two.

2 - How much on average over a 5 hour playing time do you make in ISK?
A - It varies greatly. Sometimes I make roughly 80 million in a 5 hour period. Other times I make nothing. It really depends on the opportunities that present themselves and my time commitment to EvE for that day.

3 - Solo or group based?
A - Solo all the way, though I know I can make more if working in a group.

4 - Did it require an investment in a large amount of money to achive your now regular income?
A - The biggest investment I had to put in is time. The skills required to do what I do take quite a while. Piloting a Hulk, a covert ops scanner/prober with awesome skills, and BS PvE tanking/dps capabilities.

The money required to do this is pretty high, but by the time you have the skills to do this you should already have the money too.

1 - You main occupation in Eve?
Mostly I play a Sub-Capital PvP Pilot (mainly HAC, HIC, Recon, CS and BS). I'm not a huge fan of capital ships so I only fly them on my 2nd character.
If you mean how I earn my ISK then that would be with ratting and/or plexing in 0.0 space. I've also got a few RnD agents that give me about 2 bil a year (last time I cashed in anyway - no idea how the prices for datacores have developed tbh).

2 - How much on average over a 5 hour playing time do you make in ISK?
Very hard to answer since I have not done it in the last few months. I'd estimate about 30-40mil per hour when ratting in a good system (excluding corp taxes). When plexing it can go as low as 10mil per hour (including the time it takes to find the plex of course) up to many 100mil per hour if I get good loot. On average I'd say plexing gives about the same as ratting (I rat more because it's easier to start and stop whenever I like).

3 - Solo or group based?
Always solo if possible. For some of the more difficult plexes I need a partner (especially since I've left Guristas Space - the Guri 10/10 plexes were easy to solo compared to the ones I currently run - mainly due to the natural resistances of the ships I use).

4 - Did it require an investment in a large amount of money to achive your now regular income?
For ratting that would be a no. Any crappy old BC will do the trick. For plexing (soloing anything above 8/10) I have a nicely fitted and rigged ship that costs a good 500mil. I haven't really been using that much in the past months though and I think it would also work in a non-faction fit command ship if necessary.
For the RnD agents I only had to invest time to grind the standings. From then on out it's pretty much free ISK.
