Awesome I think that rather than the scale being off in the image, the scale is actually off in the game. I remember the chronicle "Titans", which is still on the chronicle page after the prime fiction overhaul. It describes titans being so huge that their navigation systems are programmed to restrict them from getting too close to planets as they can disrupt the tides, and the magnetic field and gravity of the planet. I'd love to see changes in the scaling in Eve to be honest... to the point where battleships really are huge in comparison to frigates, and titans are so large they cast a shadow over stations. |

@Guardian Descendent: Wow, that just looks awesome sir. Thanks! Oh man, I love it! That made my day. @Verone: Thanks sir. Yes, I've read that chronicle as well. I agree that the titan felt a little too small compared to what it "should" be when I made this. That chronicle was in the back of my mind the whole time. Of course, a nine mile long object radiating energy entering the atmosphere of a planet would cause some turmoil no matter what, one would think. Also, from the story there isn't any indication of the size of the planet Goral relative to earth. It may have been significantly smaller and thus the titan's presence could have had a more drastic effect upon it. Who knows. Just my thoughts on it. Thanks for the feedback! -aehric |

As mentioned before, the Erebus (Gallente Titan) is 15km on the long axis. This is approximately slightly bigger than Manhattan - the scale of the image is pretty exact. And by the way: **** ME SIDEWAYS - Awesome!!! |

If I recall correctly, isn't the... er... 'canon' reason for that that the 'current' titan models are much more compact than the 'original' titans were? (Which used different ingame models, too. Whose scale was very likely off.) |
