I bet 5 isk OP will be up front for a capsule buff if CCP would ever make this change to capsules, because he lost his implants because a carebear anti-pirate popped his cherry Laughing

Smartbombs.

It can be unwise to use them in high-sec, but if you really want to get that wartarget and he's more than 5km away from stations/neutrals, it's the best way to do it.

In fact if you have more than one ship present and catch a well-tackled WT at a non-celestial, it may even be feasible for one of you to dock up and fit a full rack of smartbombs. Depending on your ship you may even want to carry around the SBs in cargo for just this situation...

Thats right. You heard me. I am sick if the invincible pods. I believe that the odds should be in my favor of killing said pod regardless of his wishes, if I am good enough to come along and trash his ship. I want the pods to. I think its BS I simply have no means of killing them unless you have them in a bubble ( which only works in 0.0, and since I am a empire pirate, I simply have to watch all the pods go. )

It will drain a lot more isk out of the game in the form of implants and cloans, since many more pods would die. This is a good thing.

It will stimulate PVP, and the economey all at once.

How about not sucking in PVP?

Meh ... real life physics doesn't bear any relationship what so ever to eve physics.

Plus e=mc^2 COULD be in there somewhere, at least from an RP point of view. Maybe low mass = low energy = smaller warp tunnel needed = faster. I mean why not ?

You're taking this a shade too seriously methinks.

Agreed, replying to anything scientific with the phrase "god you're stupid" is decidedly unscientific :D

And whilst Newton's second law might have been a more appropriate formula, ultimately anything with energy or mass doing *anything* has *something* to do with E=mc2.

But then given that we're talking about a game where faster than light travel is possible then who's to say what laws of physics are in effect.

Seriously Bored

Didn`t you hear him say he is just a pusy highsec "pirate"?
He don`t have balls to do that.
But of course that didn`t stop him from talking the "tough" talk on forums now did it.
The irony at work is hysterically funny.

using remote sensor boosters on a boosted inty, a buddy of mine actually managed to lock himself before the game realised what he was doing... have to dig up the screenshot... we reproduced it a few times trying to see if we could trick the client into allowing him to shoot himself... alas it was not to be...

Frankly, this is one of the best ideas I have heard in a while. Forget just the fact that pods are invincible, they need a nerfing on more than just their GTFO ability. Just yesterday I was flying my Kronos into lowsec to rat when I jumped through a gate. What did I see on the other side? TEN PIRAETS IN PODS. They scrambled my Kronos and then rammed me repeatedly with their pods until I had no choice but to pay a 140 billion ISK ransom. How is it fair that such a small ship can ram for such ridiculous DPS? Even their tank is godly.

You have my /signed for any pod-nerf that you are advocating. I wish you luck in your crusade against this significant game imbalance.

I agree with the OP. Allow bubbles in Empire.

I'd fly around in a covops specifically looking for people using them so I could fly in and watch them get CONCORDOKKOWNED.
