Thanks mittani, you're the man. Nice writeup as well - a bit shorter than the others but still entertaining.

More of your ramblings hu Rolling Eyes Your 5 minutes of being relevant is well over yet you keep feeding us these bowls of sh*t you keep cooking up...Rolling Eyes

Let me guess....it's about you again and how sneaky you are....LaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughing

Edit....cuz I was laughing to hard think straight.

Less than a minute after mittani's post. Hello mitten's alt. How's it going?

You might think so. But that is not the case. Apparently, we have so deeply scarred Snot that he feels compelled to post in every single Goon thread. Often within seconds of it going up. He even goes so far as sitting in our space copy/pasting anti NC/Goon propaganda. I give him props for his posting stamina. It is to be admired.

My best guess is that Snot's main is actually a empire veld miner that we jihaded. His rage for revenge over his lost Hulk will not be quenched. I only wish there was something we could say or do to soothe the pain and allow him to regain his inner peace. He could then abandon his anti Goon crusade and join his fellow Privateers in making the Jita undock the most unsafe space in Eve.

Did you guys make any more jihad movies btw?

The one from the first jihad was pretty cool so i was hoping for more.

I'm more impressed by his ability to avoid the alt posting rule, he's even better than the several incarnations of windy alts. Sadly, despite their cunning ability to avoid the ban stick, they both still insist on posting utter poo poo.

On Topic, as usual, I enjoyed reading the article described by Mittens.

Thanks...I have enjoyed all your articles.

I especially enjoyed your article dealing with the ISS. My first entry into 0.0 was with the ISS down in Tenerifis (C3-OYD). Your article answered alot of questions.

And for the record, Butterdog is a nice guy :). Regardless of alternate opinions about him, he gave alot of noobs some respectable leadership during that timeframe.

Quick Question.

How do you subvert people to be spies? On the one hand, simply rolling an alt (Or as I gather, having other loyal goons roll alts), and getting recruited by a hostile alliance is a way to infiltrate.
Real life intelligence organizations do operations like this far less than usually depicted, and rely far more on subverting people who are loyal to the targeted regime.

In real life people are subverted by one of four things;
Money, (Pay people, and they will work for you as spies)
Ideology, (People with your ideology will work as spies)
Compromise, (Blackmail people to work as spies)
Ego (Feed their desire to be James Bond to get them to work as spies).

These reasons have even been given the acronym MICE.

What methods have you been using in Eve to get people in enemy alliances to work as your agents?

Also, How do you meet people who can be used as spies?
In real life an embassy person can be flown to a country to hit the streets and find people who look like they know something, or an Intelligence officer can sneak into a place to find subvertable people who also have information. It is possible to people who want to do work to contact the foreign government, again through the embassy. Except, embassy staff distrust people who walk in from the street since they might be double agents.
