Ok guys I live in a class 2 WH and normally when I go through the 8 usual sites on my scanner, the nex tday it usually has more.
Yesterday and today There is nothing but 2 WH`s in all system so my question is how do wh`s spawn, I thought after downtime but there are no new sites after 2 days now. So how do they spawn daily? weekly? Randomly?
Also Ive seen alot of players list there WH`s as boosting armor or shields or whatever...How do I find out what my WH does?
And Ladar=Gas Grav=ore Mag=ruins analyzing but does these include T3 hull bpcs, or is that radar? Radar=what?
Thx alot

Maybe it's just coincidence, but it seems like things aren't spawning as often as usual. New things have spawned, but it seems like a whole lot less. |

Over the last couple days I also noticed a decrease in new spawns in my (old) Class 2 wormhole. It could be just our perceptions though; without confirmation from CCP (which as we all know isn't forthcoming) there's no way to be sure.
Question! If you live in a Class 2, how the hell do you not know what the various signature types are? Is today your first day in w-space or something? |

I know what they are but im double checking....All the Mag sites ive been to have wrecked sub routines and ive never been to a radar...ever in my wh. So im making sure my theory is right man.

I think they are in the Magnetometric sites; those are the archaeology sites. We did have a derelict Talocan frigate pop up in a radar site last night, though. Radar sites are hacking sites; we see a bunch of "Ejected Sleeper Databanks" plus waves of sleeper ships there, and the cans drop a bunch of datacores and decryptors. |

Edited by: Ace Secunda on 30/07/2009 00:13:13 Magnet = Wrecked, malfunctioning and in-tact sleeper parts used for reverse engineering of T3 BPC's Radar = Datacores, skill books and RAM tools for reverse engineering of T3 BPC's Gravimetric = Minerals, same as known space Ladar = Gas types used with reaction labs to create reactions used in the production of T3
Sleepers themselves = salvaged for parts used in production of T3 and subsystems and drop loot sold to certain factions for really good isk.
Hope this helps, pop into aperturecom in game channel for more questions answered. |

Sites spawn independantly of downtime. When one site is completed or reaches its despawn timer it is randomly respawned in a random wormhole, (either anywhere, or within the same wormhole constellation. I don't know anyone who has managed to put a POS in every wormhole within one wormhole constellation to check this, but you can get constellation IDs from data dumps -before they removed that info- to attempt to confirm this). A site will despawn when it is completed, (all rats dead in anomaly, any cans accessed in radar/mag, all gas removed from ladar, all asteroids mined in grav) and there are no ships left on-grid. Or, it will despawn once it reaches its timer (about 100 hours). Whichever happens first.

Wait so does anyone know what peeps mean when the ysay -30% active shield boosting or +20% speed? How do I figure out what my wh does?
Also will tougher [not perimeter sites]ever pop up in my little class 2 or is it based on something else other than class of WH? |

I find it rather troublesome that you moved into a wormhole with obviously no clue whatsoever on what it can do/contains. @ the other poster, im intrigued by the mentioning of a talocan frigate in a radar site as i've only encountered these in magnetometric sites sofar.... do you by change have the name of that radarsite and the class of w-space you saw it? @ OP, please go read up on wormholes and then come back with some questions, all i can say the bonusses/penalties you 'can' get are related to the type of Anomoly your Wormhole has, and not every wormhole contains an Anomoly. And yes, frontier sites can spawn in class 2 WH's, although not as much as in C3 and up. |

Ashmira, it was in a Class 2, Unsecured Perimeter Comms Relay. There was a Sleepless Outguard up when we warped in, in addition to the usual first wave. Since I've never seen a battleship in the initial group of that site in a C2, I assumed it was a guard for the derelict frigate. Like you, I've normally seen them in magneto sites. |

Thanks for the information Gavin, yeah the derelict's do spawn guards, so always check the site properly when you encounter other things then the 'normal' first wave |

I've found a talocan cruiser in a frontier radar site. Was bloody annoyed as had to go back to POS to fit a salvager. Now I always take a salvager when Im tank farming a mag/radar. I think there is a chance for a talocan ship to spawn in mags and radars. |

It seems devs intended for occupied w-space systems to have less chance for spawns. We live in a c4 that has been empty since I moved in there a month ago. We had a couple static plexes and a gravimetric we mined for days a week ago. The only thing we get for sure is a static hole going to a c5 so we pretty much ignore our own system and go there to kill sleepers. If system is occupied or got no spawns, we just close the hole and try the new one... there is always another class 5 to farm Now the spawn algorithm needs some adjustment, we usually find systems with 20+ spawns in there while ours is almost always empty |

How do I tell what anomolies my WH has if any? My shields etc seem to be the same. Im getting very good with probing and going to Neighboring WH to clean ito ut whe nmine is dry and I find the more I kill the more my wh is plentiful .
Anyways some help please. Anomolies how do I diagnose? |

Do a google search for "Wormhole Thingie". It's an app someone designed right after Apocrypha went live. You can type in the locus signature of your wormhole and it will tell you more information about your hole than you can possibly use, but the main things are it will list the Class of the hole and an effects on those in it. |

Edited by: aka Ishur on 01/08/2009 12:02:39Confirming that wormhole Thingy is the biznitch. Also POS have absolutely no effect on spawn rates!!! This is dev confirmed!! So stop saying it!! Its wrong!eleventyone wow didnt think .s.h.i.z. would be censored...kinda feel all innocent coz i have no idea what it could mean.. |

Guys thx so much...Ok is there a database for WH`s somewhere?
Ok guys my class 2 always has a hisec way leading out is it the same with class 3`s? |

That depends on the particular hole. However, the exit holes will stay the same always in that particular hole. In my current one, we have a D382 that leads to a Class 2 and an A239 that leads to lowsec. Even though the destinations change, there is always a way out into lowsec and a way into another Class 2. Most of the time I can scan out that neighboring C2 and find a route to hisec. The deeper in you, the less likely you are to find direct links to hisec space I believe. |

Sorry im askin guys but seriously the eve search doesnt help much on WH`s since There are sooooo many threads and Op`s are either to ahead of me ...or idiots.
I have always a hisec in my WH and someone told me its becuase 1-2 have a definate HISEC exit always.....Is this true guys...If so would a 3 always have 1 hi sec? Im thinking bout movin pos to the neighboring class3 but wont do it if there is no hisec as fueling a small seems to take alot of time, and losec is a gambe at best and suicicde at worst. |

No, it's not true. The first Class 1 I settled had a standard 0.0 exit, and the only time it had a high sec exit was the occasional K162 when somebody punched into it from high sec. After I figured out what was going on I moved to my current one, which *does* have a standard high sec exit. Not great for farming, but perfect for POS industry... reacting gases and the odd bit of grav site mining when the spirit moves me. To figure out your "standard" exit(s) you need to spend a few days there watching. |
