I have been scanning systems out for some time now - but a recent trend has me to thinking something isn't working as intended. Every system I first visit and scan usually pops up a couple of Cosmic Anomalies and a couple of Cosmic Sigs too.
I have just visited 2 systems in my home constellation and have found more than 40 cosmic anomalies in just 2 systems. Is this usual and I have just never seen such a highly populated plex system before - or is this broken? |

Unless they changed it in Aprocrypha, Faction Warfare sites would show up as Cosmic Anomalies. Is that the case here?
Also, sometimes in 0.0 space I would see big clusters like that, not often though.

Seems, nobody likes to run anomalies in those two systems, so they collect there after awhile. |

You'll see this from time to time in dead-end systems without stations, or in stationless highsec systems completely surrounded by lowsec. |

Yeah this happens. I came across a string of systems not too far from Amarr that all had 15-20 anomolies each. Scored a handful of faction mods that night. |

Same thing happens in some WHs. I once entered a class 3 one that had over 40 anomalies. |

After going back to "thin out" some of these plexes - I think I see the problem.
They seem to be spaced strangely throughout the system and the on board scanner is not picking them up. Unless you have a deep space probe it is unlikely that you will stumble across them. Ahh well - that could very well be to my advantage - especially if I find some good loot in there. |
