I haven't seen anything like this anywhere, and I like being able to see what I could potentially make when messing around with the market, so I threw this spreadsheet together to give me a rough idea of what kind of profit I can stand to make for any item.

Some numbers it calculates and displays for you:
• Total order cost
• Transaction fees for sell order
• Broker fees for each order
-> Includes taking Broker Relations and both Corporation and Faction standings into account
• Profit for each buy / sell order combination
• Profit percentage of cost for each complete order flip
• Total investment amount
• Total sell order income
• Total profit
• Total profit percentage of all orders
• Approximate isk / hour for sell orders based on average daily volume

EVE Online Projected Profit Workbook

Slated for future release is an application that does everything the spreadsheet does, but then takes the projected profits for items you've entered and compares it against your actual profit through the use of the API. Coming Soonฎ!

Enjoy!

Comments, criticism, and suggestions are all welcome.

I like it ... thanks for sharing it. I'll try to come up with suggestions as soon as I have had some time to
learn more about trading.

How accurate is the "Broker Fee" calculation? Because for a while that formula is highly elusive and last time I checked has not been reversed engineered yet.

I'm not in game, but I'd be interested in knowing where you came up with the formula :)

Here's a link to the page that has the formula:
EVElopedia: Market Guide

It's about a third of the way down the page, at the end of the "Market Orders" section.

Ah I see - That formula is actually contributed by Thoraemond, a regular here. I'll have to ask him, because really the exact numbers for broker fees have been close but not 100% accurate from what I can tell. I'll give it a try at least :)

But this is nice Excel since I didn't mention it before, I like very clean basic sheets. Thanks for the contribution.

Greetings Katiya

Thanks for the spreadsheet, will help a new trader like myself greatly. I haven't looked into it into great deal as of yet as I am at work, however once I get home I will take a good deep look at it and give any feedback I can. So far:

- Clean Look.
- Simple GUI (good for a noob like me)
- All the information needed.

Thanks for releasing this and the time you spent on it.

- Tommy Tucker
