Best thing to do is to farm it as long as you can. I would assume he goes to a SS and cloaks while you are there. Can't kill people like that, so hit them where it hurts, their wallet. If you cause his Raven to be stagnant more than not he'll find a new system. |

Alright first you need to get him drunk, really drunk, then you break out the donkey, and....wait, what was the subject of this thread again?
P.S. Only way to nail him is to make him leave like above poster said by keeping him from getting good spawns, or to camp a faction spawn in a cloaky. Either will work. |

And also anchor large bubbles around each gate so if he tries to leave, you can catch him :D |

lol I would anchor small drag bubbles at each belt. they cost 900k each in jita.
spending 20m isk on bubbles will really **** him off :D |

If hes actually ratting while you're in the system, then just use an Arazu/Rapier or something cloaked at a belt and tackle him when he starts ratting. Although most people stay cloaked in a ss while other people are in local.
If you have reason to believe it is a macroer, a good method is to anchor small mobile warp disruptors at each individual belt, leave system, come back in 5 minutes. If he gets sucked in hes likely to be stuck there the whole time because the macro program doesn't know how to deal with it. If he logoffski's then hes agressed for 15 minutes from the bubble.
Catching a human player though, who is being cautious is very difficult, and mostly about (dumb) luck.

Cloaky light dictor is another good bet. There's two scenarios: * Either he's active in system when you rat, then you just park the dictor cloaked up in a belt and set a trap. * Or he's not active in system when you rat, then you leave the cloaky dictor online 23/7 at a few hundred kilometers off a belt centre. In case two, he will either take his leave when he don't make isk, or he will get frustrated/ballsy/stupid and start rat with your dictor in system. Then you just align towards the belt, and as soon as you see the guy about to land - decloak, warp in, drop bubble and you got yourself a nice km. |

Log off. wait an hour for the ratter to be active again, log all the ceptors in at once. Hopefully they will catch him before he disappears.

Yeah, first, get a small pos in the system with a corp hangar array, ship maint array and some guns. Now, start living full-time in the system. If he logs on make sure you have a PvP ship ready to find and kill him. If he doesn't log on you can rat in peace. If you live there for a while and prevent him from ratting then he will soon leave. |

The cloaky macros are oldfashioned, nowadays they share POS, ships and mods. Harder to catch those than the cloakers, but instead you will almost always know which route they take (check wrecks and POS location). If the POS lacks crucial modules, it's np logging off/on a dictor and do a drag bubble for the rest of your guys to catch the ratter as well. |
