Well.. useing the current game client.. i coppied it wholesale over to a new directory.. then whent to the Test patch website... but when i click on the link there for the "Current build to test"... i get a IE error saying the page cannot be found... Any ideas on whats up? or has CCP just not updated their file from the latest patch?

Rightclick on the shortcut you have that leads to your 'test' folder (not your current client folder).

go to properties.. in the 'target' area of the Poroperties window.. after the " symble put a space then /server:87.237.38.50

so it looks something like: eve.exe" /server:87.237.38.50

Then load it up.. should re-rout you to the Test server at the loading screen (it'll show Singularity instead of Tranquil at the Server name next to the login name.

---------------------

How to connect to Singularity

We have made a few adjustments to the login screen and removed the server drop down box.

To be able to connect to singularity you have to create a shortcut from the eve.exe file and add this to the target input in the shortcut :

For Singularity: /server:87.237.38.50
For Multiplicity: /server:87.237.38.51

This would then look something like this(different between client locations) :

"C:\Documents and Settings\user\Desktop\client\eve.exe" /server:87.237.38.50

********************Edit***************************

The Above is what i had to do to get mine to work.. Test is currently running the 'current' Tranquility version.

So... how did changing your shortcut target help you download the TQ -> SiSi patch off the website?

Just curious because I can't get the patch to download off the website...

Thats just it... you dont have to patch.. the Test Server is currently running the "Live" version of the game... so if your haveing issues getting your Test server folder to become compatible so you can log in.. just copy over your 'live' folder to your Test one and it should let you login after that. (provided your Live version is up-to-date)

Hmmph, I guess you're right Laughing

Nice little coincidence I suppose.

What CCP is calling the latest TQ to Sisi patch is 89883 to 89877, so maybe a new patch is coming soon.
