anyone else feel that they should really just remove high slots and drone bays?
they are both clearly overpowerd as they can be used to hurt other ships

Can't target? Er, what?

Can't use mods? I certainly can.

Can't tank? Yep, can do that too. Buffer tanking always works, and shields have passive regen.

Far superior ships? Last I checked, a pilgrim costs at least as much as a Battleship, not even factoring in Insurance.

Seriously, 0/10. Please give me your stuff and quit EVE, as you're just going to lose it all anyways with so much fail.

Yeah, I think you are the "omfg idiot". You can NOT neut someones cap, and still benefit from NOS. Do some more research before whining... better yet, try it out yourselfRolling Eyes

See what I mean exactly the idiot I was thinking of don't read anything properly.
I did state that you yourself will be using your mods to counter enemy ship which uses cap so the small cap you do have left after nos/neut will be used up this again rendering ship useless... So what should you do nothing to save a little bit of cap whilst dying? Hmmm

This is your words.....

So, what should the ship rely on to use modules? I personally feel that this is all well and balanced. As do many others. One frig can not neut a carrier to death. The frig does not have enough cap to do so, nor is the module that powerful. The natural regeneration of a carrier is far superior to the frigs neut. But several hundred may. Why is that overpowered?

Plates, shield extenders, projectiles, missiles... Rolling Eyes

Adapt or die. Ships disable other ships in many different ways, its a big game of rokh, blaster, scissors, ecm, webs, missiles, smartbombs, etc etc. I'm glad there is more than 1 way to kill me.

So neuts are fine, nos are fine, but used at the same time they are overpowered?

Nos only works when the cap of your opponent is higher than your cap. So then there are two possibilities:
1. your cap is higher, nos doesnt do anything, so neut is doing stuff alone, and that was fine according to you
2. your cap is lower, so the result of your actions is that you capped out and the opponent still has cap. I dont really see how that is overpowered.

Neuts are completely balanced. You nuke an enemy's cap but you must nuke your own to do it. If you're in a battleship it gives you a distinct advantage against frigates and cruisers, but not against other battleships. And the Amarr recons have to have SOMETHING useful in the world of Rapiers, Arazus and Falcons.

I gotta tell you man, not that I don't think that nos's are ballanced, but there are these things called tracking disruptors, and they're ****ing amazing. I watched a curse land 20 KM off a handful of sniper HAC's and watched the whole gang fall apart as they tried to track a neutralizing pointing demon let loose in their formation. It was the funniest **** I've ever seen. As far as recon's go, the usefulness of a Curse goes something like Falcon/Rook>Curse/Pilgrim>Arazu/Lachesis>Minmatar recons.
