I needed a new chair and was thinking of a high-backed executive chair but I thought it might get too hot and sweaty. Do you guys like the high-backed ones or just go with a regular task chair? And yeah, that Herman-whatever chair sounds awesome but I can't afford the $500 heh.

Although, they do seem to be a little more pricey over that side of the pond. Shocked

What do you do with your mouse with those recliners though? The armrest big enough?

My desk is high enough that I can pull it over the armrests.

I've had my Aeron for 7 years and have had no backpain while sitting in it for 12 hours straight. In comparison, I can only sit in the company's cheap office chair for 3 hours ... and that's stretching it.

I want the one from "The 40yo Virgin" or an Emporer (I am so getting one of them instead of a new car - I spend more time on a screen)

At present I use a electric recliner with a Spacedec articulated arm and 22" so the screen can manoeuver any comfortable position I like. 20hr sessions lying down with the screen elevated above anyone?

My chair is the same as the one they use on the Daily Show, but with arm rests. Took a little bit getting used to, but now I kick back, game and work in style :D

Mine is made of fake leather that makes my groin sweat a whole lot.

After a session of Eve it looks like I've wet myself.

I have this, not that pricy and I can sit in it for at least a normal workday without any problems. (After 16 hours you back tends to get a bit soar though).

Since I'm broke and need all my iskies to spend on EVE, I just went down to my local office surplus store to pick out a gently used chair for $25. Its still in very good shape and probably cost $300 new. I bet there is someone near you as well that does office surplus and recycling.

My chair

I would love a recliner with wireless keyboard and mouse but would need one of those 30' monitors for that. Now we need a monitors section.
