I am enjoying dealing with (and salvaging) enemy ships in Level 1 agent mission deadspaces but I was wondering about some of the structures and whether they contained anything lootable?

I do know that the odd one that I have been sent to destroy (mainly Habitation Modules) have taken what seems like a huge effort to destroy but yesterday I popped a warehouse as instructed and was rewarded with about 1m ISK of lootable items.

Is it profitable to make the effort to bring extra ammo and pound down some of the other structures in deadspaces or are they generally empty? Are there any faction consequences of doing so?

Thanks in advance.

A few structures in missions contain loot, so feel free to bring additional ammo to blow them up and see what's inside. Some mission guides also mention structure loot. You can't salvage structures.

You're Gallente, so just use your drones. Set them to blow up structures while you loot and salvage. After a while you learn which ones drop stuff and blow up them first Very Happy

Eve Mission Guide is your friend. It will usually tell you which structures will drop loot. Sometimes you can get lucky but it can also take along time to take down some structures.

I recall habitats, those giant egg-shaped containers, and whatever is next to them... those usually drop stuff.

Some of those structures have lots of hp though, lazors ftw.

Thanks folks - just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to waste ammo on the useless stuff - as you said, some of them have a squillion hit points...

As a rule of thumb in level 1-3 missions it seems as though the structures with huge amounts of hit points drop either nothing or so little that it's not worth the time to kill them. At least that's been my experience.

I generally only do it in the extravaganza bonus room.

However, Silence the informant atleast the l3 version is worth it. There's a structure in the final pocket that drops millions sometimes. I got 2x skill books the other day 20m total in one mission.

There's also a l3 storyline that's worth it. I snagged a -5% cap use for lasers implant from that one.

The Pleasure Hub in Silence the Informant (lvl 3), the Gallente Control Tower in Lights Out (both 1 and 3) and the Gas Silo in Guristas Extravaganza (lvl 3) all drop good stuff worth quite a bit. Most of my science skills books I have gotten from the first mission, most worth 10M isk each as few worth quite a bit more. Almost worth farming just for the skill books since you can sometimes get more than one.
