When the expansion is brought to the test server, will the Classic client on Singularity be dropped? If so, what about the Premium Light version? |

i got a question, if Tier/Tech 3 ships will be availible to the eve market, can you actually change the bounus's on these ships? if so, with speed bounus's you might be bringing nano'd battleships back :P
Anyway.. good job on the expansion, im looking forward to it. |

Premium lite is sitting innocently under 'Enable Scene2' (I think) if you change the Skip Mipmaps up to 1 or 2 and change the shader model down to 2.
There are still a number of rough edges in this build, and stuff that's not complete. Classic still vaguely functions, but a good number of assets and things for this expansion will only work in 'Scene2'.

i have a guy in my corp who doesn't have the money for a new vid card and doesn't have the shader. can that option be turned off so he (and many like him i'm sure) can still play? |

I think you should recognize that not many people login to SiSi just to test the builds for the heck of it. We login to test PvP loadouts and strats and if we come across a bug in the process, we report it. While CCP has every right to pull the server down for its primary purpose, they should recognize the secondary service it provides to players, esp. the last day of practive before the AT6 tourney... But anyways, it looks like it'll stay online. |
