When someone aggresses another player, or is being aggressed, then he should have a 15 minute timer, where he stays in space even when logged off.

Recently I noticed, that certain people are especially fond of getting rid of aggro by leaving system and logging off.

From all I have seen and tested so far, even when you have aggro, jumping through a stargate removes the aggro timer and you disappear after a minute, which is usually to fast to be probed out.

My question, is that allowed use of gamemechanics, or exploiting a bug with the aggro timer?

I have tried to petition it, and ccp just says "no such exploit exists." Tried to escalate it etc no joy.

It used to be that if you jumped and logged you could be probed out. This is just a lame stealth change aimed at making combat less likely to occur. They never mentioned it, but it's just there to help carebears/make freighters invulnerable in low sec.

If you keep complaining enough they might decide its a, "bug"- but I highly doubt it.
