o/ All

Z.o.r.g.i.x Are now open for recruitement!

What we are looking for:

Arrow Applicants must be approaching the 10m skill points mark in game and be at least 18 years old, our corp chat regularly features adult themes so no children please ;)

Arrow You must have a reasonably good standard of written and spoken English, it doesn't have to be perfect as long as you can get your point across. We have people from all over the world but we all use English.

Arrow A "good" and easy going sense of humor is also must, we don't want to offend anyones sensibilities ;).

Arrow We're looking for both PvP and industrial pilots, or any mixture of the two. You don't have to be amazing at either but an understanding of the basics is a must. We're happy to provide support and training for those that want it provided you're willing to learn.

Arrow You must be self sufficient, defined as able to make ISK for yourself - you don't need to be rich or have a huge fleet or ships, as long as you have a source of income (we offer plenty of opportunity for this, read below...)

Arrow Perhaps most of all we are looking for those that have a Willingness to participate. Joining Z.o.r.g.i.x is an exciting opportunity to do many things, but its not for the weak of heart or for those that want to hang around empire spinning their ships in station.

We wont try to force you to do anything you really don't want, but we appreciate enthusiasm and willingness. The more you contribute, the more you'll get in return.

What we offer:

Arrow Access to 0.0

Arrow Membership of a tight and progressive corporporation.

Arrow Membership of a large and active alliance.

Arrow More ISK than you can cope with! High end ratting, 0.0 mission running, high end ore, complexes, etc etc.

Arrow Lots of PvP, We're never short of things to shoot at :)

Arrow Regular corporation and alliance operations, both PvP and industrial.

Arrow Regular carrier logistics operations to move your stuff to and from 0.0 safely, got a ship you want moved? Let us know and it'll be taken care of...

Individuals and small groups are welcome. Corp leadership opportunities are available for the right people, but be prepared to put some effort in for this.

Applicants please contact either Neamus, Storm Moonsong, or join and spam the _Zorgix_ in game channel for further details.

Our Killboard.

We currently are excellently based for solo roaming and small gang (Stain) in those quiet times, as well as larger operations against close enemies (Estoria).

If a statue of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle; if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

The world's official timekeeper, the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS) in Paris, decided to prolong 2008 by one second.

(We all know about leap years, which occur once every four years because it takes 365 days plus six hours for our planet to complete an orbit around the Sun, but seemingly leap seconds are added on a strictly at need basis, because satellites orbit at speeds calculated in miles per second, and the Internet, (GPS) global positioning systems etc all need to know exactly what time it is.

So the countdown to 2009 went something like this: "...3, 2, 1 and a half, 1... Happy New Year!")

It has been estimated that the human brain has a raw computational power of around 10 petaflops. A petaflop is a measure of a computer's processing speed and can be expressed as a thousand trillion floating point operations per second.

The fastest supercomputers on the planet are just beginning to break the 1 petaflop barrier, it's estimated that supercomputers will equal the raw processing power of the human brain within the next 7 years.

Some scientists believe that we will be able to produce machines that will achieve human-level artificial intelligence within the next 21 years.

The world's oldest tree has been found in Sweden, a tenacious spruce that first took root just after the end of the last ice age, more than 9,500 years ago.

The tree has rewritten the history of the climate in the region, revealing that it was much warmer at that time and the ice had disappeared earlier than thought.

Previously, pine trees in North America were thought to be the oldest, at around 5,000 years old.

Studies show that if a cat falls off the seventh floor of a building it has about thirty percent less chance of surviving than a cat that falls off the twentieth floor.

It supposedly takes about eight floors for the cat to realize what is occurring, relax and then correct itself.

If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.

If you fart consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.

And banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour.
