As the first link I posted would tip you off, this is the guy seeking multiple high sec mercs on the forum now.

I've had quite a few people try to hire mercs on me the last few days, so i've been keeping tabs on who hires who to kill who, this among other things meant I contacted this chap to see if this thread was meant for me.

As it turns out, it was not, when contacting the OP he wanted me to destroy Atomic Battle Penguins and another mercenary corp whom I wont name until i've spoken to their CEO (he wasn't available yesterday so I won't name them just yet).

Well this is just rubbish I think, I like Dave, and eXtas has a sweet bum, disrespect like this? no way!

I was going to de-mask the alt and prevent any harm coming to innocent sweet Dave and corp X.

Now to get his main, I needed leverage, isk is a good leverage I thought so I set about trying to convince this guy that I could crush abp like they were nothing along with the other corporation, it takes me about four hours of convincing (yes, you think I talk too much, but being able to spam bull**** for four hours continuasly is quite profitable I assure you).

In the end he wires me 3b isk with the promise of 2b on completion, after recieving the isk (this bit is important for those trying to learn technique here) I tell him that I need to know his main, as we work on the promise of more after the job, I tell him only I need know, not even my CEO's will hear about it.

Now this guy is really keen on keeping his identity secret, and frankly most people would be if they wanted to destroy two top mercenary corps, but I have 3 billion of his isk and at this point he can't do anything but agree.

Que the events in the above screenshot, alas he left the chat as soon as this happened so we didn't get any exciting drama...apart from this.

Did I scam him? hell yes I did, and i'll scam you too if you try to mess with people I like!

I valiantly threw myself infront of Dave using my body as a shield to block that evil 3 billion isk of blood money, because that's the type of nice guy I am.

As for the above scamming accusations....trust me, Dave is not cut out for scamming, murder yes, scamming, don't make me laugh.

Am I a scammer?

Hell no, I think we can all agree that I am a humble and legitimate miner scraping his way on the bare minimum required to sustain himself in this fine and noble game.


Now the morale of this story is, don't **** with mercenaries, someone will find out and they'll come own you.

ABP are as we speak at war with these gents, why that is you'll have to talk to Dave about.

hmm depends tbh, i'm still undecided...

hiring a known scammer who revels in the tricks he pulls off to do anything with isk upfront is just complete fail on the OP's part... tis almost like sayin to tyraxx here run my alliance pls, btw we have these moms at x location without pilots so stay away please :P

but i'm also veering towards wondering how this will affect future work for AWar, you're not full time mercs but you do take on jobs every now n again (by your own admittance earlier)... how is a potential client to know when the jobs real or fake... quite a conundrum for em... ahh well since i dont use mercs i dont care...

If this is true then it is a waste of a perfectly good Merc alliance. We had these guys contracted on us and they were Very good pilots (although a bit too smacky)
Bottom line is if you dont want the contract you dont take the isk. This probably has just ruined your names as mercs and for what 3 billion? Pathetic TBH.
R.I.P Exahalted you were a good merc alliance while you lasted... perhaps pirating/griefing is next on the cards?
