No, I don't mean pilot in the sense of a battleship pilot, I am talking about real life pilots who fly aircraft in the real world. EVE is a pretty diverse place and I am sure that some pilots exist in game of varying levels. Just trying to see if there are any of you who have mastered the third dimension of travel or are at least training to do so.

For me, I am a single engine land, instrument rated pilot and I should have a commercial rating by next month, finally be able to be paid to fly Very Happy. After that I plan on obtaining my CFI, CFII and MEI cash permitting. What I would also like to know from the career pilots out there what I can expect in these first few years before I can make it to the big time.

Once upon a time I was a single engine VFR private pilot Very Happy

Haven't flown in about 10 years though.

Edit: one day I plan on getting back to it, just gunna cost a bunch!

I've flown an RAF helicopter as part of work experience...
Doesn't count for much but its better than sitting in the back of a 747 Smile
