I have been doing a lot of salvage pirating and was wondering if it would be appreciated if i sent a list of people who are most likely bots ie if they don't respond to me stealing their loot and not responding to local chat or private conversations. I'm just seeing if i should bother reporting them or not.

Are there mission BOTS? I don't think they're bots, I think they're just guys in China running twenty missions with twenty CNRs on 10 computers and not slowing down to read local chat.

Try chatting with them in Mandarin. I have, and sometimes they respond.

It could be that they realize that the only threat a mission looter has is if you react to their presence. So they just ignore you, what reason do they have to talk to you anyways? Though I'm sure you could bot a mission though there is very little differance from a bot and a player ran mission domi tbh.

I have never personally heard of a mission bot. However the real question is why would you bother reporting anyone whom obviously doesn't mind you pirating thier mission?? If it was such a big deal to them I am sure they could fit a cnr with smart bombs and gank you. Since they are more than likely in an npc corp you would have no way to strike back. IMHO enjoy the gravy train.

Considering a good portion of the appeal to ninja salvaging/looting is the mission runners responses(tears), its not exactly a bad tactic to ignore them, suspected macro or not.

Confirmed, best thing to do is ignore people in your missions. Really annoys them I find. They`re probably not bots, just sensible. Laughing

IMHO they only do it for attention. Refusing them attention = win.

is true though XD...

most of the time when I (or people I convinced to) ignore them... they (the salvagers) just do their thing and be on their merry way.

or leave when they couldnt get an reaction from you.

hell, missions is soooo boring, sometimes I BEG them to stay XD...

and funny enough all of them runs away when I do that...
