Yeah, the US and China keep underestimating the deduction powers of YouTubers. When will the governments of the world learn?

That may not actualy be a theory truth be told.

It's a theory untill you have proof..

Yea, and is China ever going to admit even if there is some watertight (see what I did there YARRRR!! ) evidence?

No...

Quote:
Theory: A comprehensive explanation of a given set of data that has been repeatedly confirmed by observation and experimentation and has gained general acceptance but has not yet been decisively proven. See also hypothesis and scientific law.

Large difference between proof, and decisive proof.

It's more accurate to say "It's a hypothesis until you have proof"

Given China's less-than-honest approach to the Olympics, I would actually be willing to believe that China faked their spacewalk. Not that I'm actually going to watch yet another video on youtube with some neckbearded virgin talking about the GREAT CONSPHIRASHAY!

Hmmmmm

Spacewalk may be fake, but the bubbles may be superimposed as well

depends on your view point really, china probably WOULD lie to everyone, but so would america, UK russia ETC.

Hohum.

China like to keep such a tight lid on their media and whatnot a faked spacewalk video doesn't necessarily tell you anything about what actually happened.

My thought was that the bubbles looked different compared to the rest of the video. I would say the video was edited. Also, the stadium lights looked to me like they might be the lights from the spacecraft itself used to allow the atronauts to see what they were doing.

With so much animation and futuristic film footage for many blockbusters being done in places like China, I doubt they would be so sloppy if they were really trying to make a fake look real. Most Chinese fake products are alarmingly authentic, their attention to detail is probably second to none and it often takes a real expert to see the difference.

The moon landing was faked as a coverup for the REAL reason we were on the moon, to collect Biometal!

The thing is about the lights is when they changed camera angles, theres nothing there, just the end of the craft itself, even when looking the in the visor of the space walkee, we seen the end of the craft, but in the mirror reflections there are rows of lights, even a reflection of the planet, which is supposedly behind them.

Which could also indicate that it was superimposed on the video as well to make it look fake. It works both ways. The truth is, we'll never really know.

My only comment is that the "water" must be remarkably pure - normally, water in a pool of the size necessary to stage that kind of simulated spacewalk in would be rendered noticeably oaque by the presence of impurities - which, incidentally, includes the chlorine that would be used to disinfect it.

Could be they're just using post-processing effects to rectify that, but it does poke a small hole in the "faked" theory.

Still, yeah, I'd be prepared to bet that the Chinese of all people would fake it like that.

So true, but I also looked at a crap load of videos on the same subject, from different sites, cause I knew someone would have that counter. But then again it could have all stemmed from the same video that was edited.

I'd need to see the original.

I think an easier explination is that this was them training under water in a giant pool. NASA trains their astronauts under water too.

Mythbusters proved that America landed on the moon. America even placed reflective plates on specific coordinates on the surface for scientific experiments. To this day ANYONE with a $29 million dollar laser telescope can bounce light off those plates.

But conspiraters usually dont care about facts and such.

ZOMG FAKE!!! **smashes head against the wall***

For my part, it looked fake. That's not to say that it didn't happen, but that the authorities, the PRC, wanted it to look better than it really did. So they edited the feed and wound up making themselves look stupid.

I have to admit... they did have 4 good points...

1) The clarity of the images and sounds was... too good... even the ISS transmissions aren't that good, and that's a WORLDWIDE effort.

2) The fact that they were consistantly pulled away from the craft was... weird... either they were in slightly too low an orbit or...?

3) The reflections off of their wrist "mirrors"... either the Blockade Runner from Star Wars was there or they had some seriously powerful array of lights that cloaked when they shot an image from the other side.

4) The bubbles thing... wtf were those? Debris I'm assuming 0o;

Finally, my own observation - where the FECK did the other camera men go?

I don't necceseeescsececsecarily think that they DIDN'T do a space walk, but I do think they posted this video and claimed it was this video that was taken from space, perhaps because the ACTUAL video of the spacewalk was ****e.

And where did this YouTube kiddy get this video? Is this the official video anyways? Who says this isn't just a video of a rehearsal that this YouTuber has told everyone is supposedly the actual official video that china released for the space walk?
