Does anyone know if secure containers are destructible and if they can be scanned down?

Secure containers are destructible - though they have a massive amount of hitpoints, and people aren't likely to do it unless they are really bored/vindictive. They wouldn't be able to do it in high-sec either without a wardec as there's no way they'd be able to destroy it before CONCORD caught up to them.

Containers of any sort cannot be scanned down. (If they're in a safespot, the only way to get to them would be to scan down a ship/drone that was at that location, so they're not 100% invincible to visits from outsiders as you can be scanned yourself while using them.

Not entirely true. They do show on the overview and you can make progressively closer safe spots to narrow down their location and then fly to them until they're on grid. We have used this technique in the past to find ratters' stashes.

Also OP: The password on a secure can DOES NOT WORK until you anchor that can. Make sure you anchor your cans.
