When buying and selling characters, please note that by confirming the trade via EVEmail, you ensure that the facts of the matter are documented, should any later disputes arise that require GM attention.

You don't send ISK via EveMail.

What that post means is that you are supposed to have the character that is being sold send a EveMail to the character that will be sending the ISK confirming what the ISK is for.

ISK should not be sent until after a confirmation EveMail is received.

Once the confirmation has been received, the buyer would send the ISK using the normal Give ISK options.

If the character transfer is not complete or the ISK is not refunded in a timely manner, a petition may be filed to have a GM return the ISK that was sent.

The EveMail serves as a sort of reciept/contract for the character sale.
