The full story starts two days ago while EC was deployed to help PL in Venal. (Take note that EC had been deployed for a few days) While EC was deployed SOT came into the 7BX-6F region and began open hostile with around a 70 man fleet. During hostile yesterday SOT setup a POS and brought in an additional 5-10 cap ship fleet and began hostile against EC POS's.

EC's response during this time was to hold conversations with PL and SOT. I hold no knowledge of these convos, but the end result was PL told EC to get out. (Personally I'd like to know why when EC to my knowledge did buy the regions in question from PL.) During the convo EC and allies continue to be attacked, but fired no return hostile shoots on SOT.

After diplomacy had broke down open hostilities against SOT began by EC and CONOS. The main goal of these hostilities was to break pilots out of the EC owned station in 7BX-6F because SOT had deployed bubbles throughout the 7BX-6F system in what I think was hopes to trap pilots in system.

After hostilities and all pilots were relativity safe logistics maneuvers were taken by both side. I hold no knowledge of these maneuvers.

Beginning around 20:00 eve time SOT once again locked down the 7BX-6F system and a huge fleet battle ensured with max system reaching around 250-300 in system. Specifics on the battle I cannot report, but I can say that the fight was eventually ended when PL dropped two Titans and double DD'd. (Reminds me of someone spraying two dogs with water). End result, fight over till another day. .

In regards to EC being in the GBC, while I can't say for a fact that they are not, it is news to 99.9% of us here in fountain that we are. (Seems like a convenient excuse to kick out EC)

If anything here is wrong I am just going off what I have heard while engaged in the fountain region. I hold no claims to the extent of damage or the exact motives of either side involved; however, I will say that I am in CONOS and I am supporting EC in this fight.

My intel reports that a small corp in venal bought standings with PL for the duration of PL's stay in the north. EC moved on their own accord to N5Y, much to the shigrin of the PL pilots. PL however shrugged it off as the pubbies tried to "impress" PL with their support.

Enter in a day or two ago and EC learned of the standings agreement between the carebear mission corp and PL and demanded a slice of the pie. PL refused to pay EC to set the corp in question to blue, words were exchanged and PL reset EC.

In short, PL could care less who their pets shoot, be it neutrals or each other. However now that EC has been reset, befriended GODS; be it temporarily or not, someone PL has been having a lot of fun with I might add; and got into a fight with PL pets SOT, PL naturally took the side of their blues and engaged the neutrals.

EC cried over a tiny bit of isk, blew it up into a big thing. Now EC may very well lose their space over it, where arrangements may have been made in the past. Only time will tell.

My story as just another soldier.

Ordered to Venal to fight. Fight fight fight, fun fun fun. I don't care who came up with it or why, it was a good time.

SoT attacks us while our back is turned and they are blue. Again, I don't care why. Kill kill kill, SoT pushed to hiding in their PoS all last night as we broke out from the station.

Been at work all day, seems like good fights were had, again much sadness over missing them. Also don't care why we are fighting really, its fun and its what I do.

Tonight, kill more SoT, hurray GODs are involved, I had a good time in that alliance and have friends there. More pew pew! Avoid PL blob!

I don't normally report to flamebait, but on this occasion I will rise to it.

1. PL *never* asked EC to come to North. We didn't care what EC did/does, but them choosing to come base from N5Y was somewhat strange, especially given there were no joined ops planned. I won't comment on the events leading to the resetting in detail, but let's just say certain highly placed official in EC did not act very smartly in convo spam of every director they could find in their address book and the demands they made or the tone they made the demands with.

2. SOT did not request our help, but we had a fleet setup for roaming so decided to go pop by given EC decided to team up with GODS.

3. I wish some people would stop talking about events with authority they have no idea about, but hey -- it's COAD.

i'm not going to argue with you on what happened overall because as far as i know... that could possibly be what happened, but from a more personal point of view, when a EC leader was removed from his post and before the rest of the alliance members had a chance to ask why or gotten explained to, a blue entity invades and engages "friendlies." i don't disbelieve your words since we all know the guys in question -.- but as the average joe of the alliance, our point of view is "oo go play with PL in venal cause we're friends, ok all our logistics are done and pvp ships are up there, hey guys SOT are hitting our home with a big fleet and we have no one there and ohh apparently pl also reset us without the majority of us knowing." but yea too bad things couldn't have been solved diplomatically, but ohh well.. i shall look for you on the field. good day sir :)
